Dems Target Petraeus

Unwilling to accept that America is winning the war, Democrats are targeting General David Petraeus in a preemptive attempt to discredit his report on progress in Iraq.
The New York Times, quasi-official organ of the Democrat Party, is running an ad by MoveOn.org, which apparently without irony denounces Petraeus as a traitor for being expected to bring news that is good for America but bad for its enemies — including internal enemies.
At this point, no one expects patriotism or responsibility from the New York Times, but even US Senators are participating in attempts to smear Petraeus. Dianne Feinstein (D-CA) accuses:
I don't think he's an independent evaluator.
In other words, Petraeus is a stooge who will tell lies on behalf of the Bushitler regime.
Even the atrocious Joe Biden (D-DE) will grudgingly admit that there has been "some mild security progress" in Iraq — which can be interpreted to mean that the USA is kicking terrorist ass big time. But he says Petraeus is "dead flat wrong" if he doesn't want to retreat immediately.
Harry Reid (D-NV), who announced months ago that America has already been defeated by the terrorists, has come right out and called Petraeus a chronic liar without even waiting to hear the report. Reid sits atop a Senate that unanimously approved Petraeus as commander of US forces in Iraq earlier this year.
Meanwhile Dick Durbin (D-IL), who has publicly compared our troops to Nazis, is threatening to choke off their money supply.
As the Dems in the Senate and media are making clear once again, America's most dangerous and despicable enemies aren't in Iraq, Iran, or a cave in Pakistan. They are right here in this country, doing everything in their insidious power to destroy it from within.
