Animal Rights Kook Steals Bunny From Preschoolers
AP reports from Spokane:
A pet rabbit named Sugar Bunny was stolen from a preschool and fliers protesting circus animal acts were left in its empty cage.
The preschool's children gathered in a circle Monday to remember Sugar Bunny.
"We talked about how some people have different ideas about animals," said teacher Lori Peters. "Some people don't think they should be in cages."
A 5-year-old had a more intelligent response:
Somebody stoled him. I'm sad.
The fliers targeted Ringling Brothers Circus, much hated by PETA and other militant moonbats for delighting little kids at the supposed expense of the animals.
As observed at BelchSpeak, this was almost certainly an inside job — i.e., a staffer with keys to the Community Building Children's Center abducted the rabbit. But chances of the perpetrator meeting with justice are slim.

No doubt the rabbit was released into the wild, where he lived in peace and harmony with nature until a hawk saw him.
