Al Franken For Senate Still Not Funny
Amazingly enough, the obnoxious comedian Al Franken — known for his extreme left-wing political views — could still conceivably be elected to the Senate from Minnesota, with the help of cash infusions from his well-heeled Hollyweird friends.
No doubt Franken would transcend partisanship and reach across party lines in the interest of mature and responsible government. Via the Wall Street Journal, a couple quotes give insight into his mentality:
From Mr. Franken's 2005 book, "The Truth (With Jokes)"
"Republicans are shameless d**ks. No, that's not fair. Republican politicians are shameless d**ks."
From Mr. Franken's 2003 book, "Lies and the Lying Liars Who Tell Them"
"But you know, I don't want to get into a whole partisan politics thing here. Not in this book, anyway. We'll leave that for my next book, I F***ing Hate Those Right-Wing Motherf***ers!, due out in October 2004."
You would think even the Democrat Party would have the self-respect to keep this vulgar and belligerent fool off a Senate ticket. But if Chappaquiddick Ted Kennedy and Hanoi John Kerry are allowed in the Senate, anything's possible.

To paraphrase Lloyd Bentsen: "Mr.Franken, I know funny. Some of my close friends are funny. Mr.Franken, you are not funny."

He wasn't even funny when he was on SNL back in the day.

Why is Al Frankenfag puckering up like that? Did Barney Frank or Larry Craig enter the room?
As for Craig, he should be booted out of the Republican party and forced to become a Democrat. After all, the Democrats love perverts.

"I'm good enough, I'm smart enough, and doggone it,
people like me!" Not me, Mr. Franken. I think you suck.

If he can lead a start-up radio station to be a successful powerhouse then why shouldn't he be able to do the same for America? Oh wait, nevermind.

I've never seen Al Franken in person. Is he as thick as he looks? Everything about him - his lips, his eyebrows, his head - especially his head. Must be as big as a friggin water buffalo. I know he sounds thick.

Al Frankenberry is mentally retarded; its amazing he can string 2 sentences together. He wears those coke bottle glasses because his brain is malformed. Look at the photo, the eye on the left is HUGE!!!!!!! almost freakish.

Lemme tell you about Al Frankenstein on SNL: The idiot was upstaged every single week by the likes of Mike Myers, Dana Carvey, Chris Rock, Dennis Miller, Phil Hartman, Kevin Nealon, Chris Farley, Adam Sandler, David Spade & yes even Rob Schneider.

The Democratic Party lost its self-respect years ago. One of the problems we face going into the elections is the lingering image of the party as moderate and geared toward the interests of the average person. In reality, of course, it is neither. Franken is a perfect fit for what has become a dumping ground for every unwholesome current in our society.

If Franken would convert to muslim, he would win the moonbat electorate easily, unless the Goracle ran against him. All hail The Goracle!!

think jesse ventura...
oh, they'll vote for al - that's why they're minnesota and the rest of u.s. are not.
resume party.

Nah, Hemlock, Franken is jewish so conversion won't save him. The muslims won't tolerate that.
Nanc's right...any state that would elect Ventura has got a few issues to iron out and a few screws loose. Is likely they'll elect another twisted sister.
