A Moonbat Star Is Born

Posted by Dave Blount at September 24, 2007 3:03 PM

Screwball MIT student Star Simpson, who thought it would be amusing to show up at Boston's Logan Airport — departure point for half of the 9/11 hijackers — with a flashing circuit board, dangling wires, and a handful of make-believe C4, has provided moonbats with a new heroine.

Check out some of the comments that were spat at the Boston Herald's Michele McPhee for taking the brainless little brat to task:

Your just jealous because she has brains and you dont!
What is with editorialist reporter? Does she want to lick every cops buttons clean while she's foaming at the mouth with her populist pap.
Now please explain to me exactly what journalism school Herald reporters are supposed to go to: The Helen Keller School of Journalism perhaps?
They could have simply talked to her about the silly device instead of acting like a Gestapo Force.
Only a paranoid idiot could have thought that the device looked like a bomb. The girl's mistake was not realizing that Logan security is provided by paranoid gestapo.
Okay I get it. This column is performance art. You're trying to reflect the proudly belligerent ignorance of popular American thought.
It is reasonable for the media and everyone else to assume it was meant to look like a bomb simply because a dope and some dopey police thought it was a bomb?
I'm getting kind of tired of the country's most cowardly people wetting their pants and reducing our civil liberties because they're afraid of terrorists.
[Simpson's] only mistake was that she has not yet learned that most people in this country are less intelligent, more paranoid, not able to recognize wiring with the complexity of a flashlight, and especially in an airport will idiotically equate exposed wires with explosives.
Next time you see Michele McPhee's name on a story, know that she is going to pick on the little guy and suck up to the corrupt politicians and cover up for police mistakes just for her own personal advancement.

And on and on and on.

Ben Franklin said that those who would sacrifice liberty for security deserve neither liberty nor security. The same could be said for those who would sacrifice security for moonbattery.

Simpson's hairdo alone could give people a scare.

On a tip from Byron.
