WaPo Dhimmis Pull Opus Cartoon

The cowardly dhimmis at the Washington Post pulled a light-hearted Sunday installment of "Opus" by Berkeley Breathed because they thought Muslims might not like it.

The censored strip is currently available at Salon.com. It features the character Lola Granola explaining to her boyfriend why she wants to be a radical Islamist.

WaPo is Opus' home newspaper, though it is syndicated to others.

Just a week ago, the same strip suggested that the recently deceased Reverend Jerry Falwell doesn't belong in heaven. Needless to say, WaPo saw no need to pull that strip.

Once again, it is impossible to distinguish between depraved multicultural obsequiousness and rank cowardice. Whatever motivates the contemptible moonbats running WaPo, it certainly isn't devotion to freedom of speech.

Liberals are cowards. The very lowest kind. They prove it again, and again, and again.

The internet is giving us more freedom. Ten years ago, most people would not have seen the cartoon. Today, more people may be seeing it because it was banned and b/c of the Internet. Totalitarians have their work cut out for them.

I've seen the censored strip. For all the trouble its caused, its not really that funny.

I read it in the Seattle Times sunday morning. Didn't give it a second thought at the time. If WaPo is worried about the sensibilities of people that would be offended by that little piece of fluff they should get out of the newspaper business. What a bunch of little sissy girls.

Wash Post is a waste of tree-killing.
Never spent a cent on that rag. And when I write "rag"
I mean it in a female hygiene sort of way.

WAPO is good for the sports page and store coupons only.

But, you guys, there IS freedom of speech at the WaPo -- freedom to speak or write any words you wish, so long as the National Socialists on the editorial staff "approve" the words. Seig Heil!
