UK Foreign Office Minister Wants to Surrender Seat on Security Council
As Arnold Toynbee wisely noted, "Civilizations die from suicide, not by murder." For proof, have a look at who Britain has chosen to be the new Foreign Office Minister, George Soros acolyte Lord Mark Malloch-Brown, who wants the UK to give up its seat on the UN Security Council to the bureaucratic abomination known as the European Union.
Just last October, Malloch-Brown told fellow diploweenies in Brussels that the EU is heading toward a single seat in UN institutions, enthusing that it should happen "as quickly as possible" because "I'm a huge fan of it."
At this point no one should be terribly surprised that liberal government leaders could be "huge fans" of surrendering British sovereignty. Just be thankful London Mayor Red Ken Livingstone isn't the Foreign Office Minister — Britain's seat on the Security Council would be turned over to al-Qaeda.

On a tip from The Panday.

I'm actually in favor of this.
There is no reason Britain and France should have seats on the Security Council. They're has-beens. Move aside and give a seat to India or Japan.
Of course, the UN and the Security Council are worse than useless anyway, so who really gives a darn.

And I apologize in advance to Archonix. Sorry, guy. You're aces, but your countrymen, of late, have been something of a disappointment in the defending English Civilization department. Kudos on standing up in Iraq, but at home, multicultural nonsense seems to be the order of the day. Many parts of America are the same way.

Nice pointy head-do. Carefully developed after years of
wearing a tin-foil dunce cap.

My hair looks like that when I get up in the mornings. Luckily I own a comb. Someone should send that dude one.

Doesn't the hair style say something? Looks kind of like the style of those who spray painted Churchill's statue some years earlier.

So terror apologist transnationalist George Soros acolyte Lord Mark Malloch-Brown is a big fan of non-elected government?
No sh*t?
;)
Why shouldn't France give up their veto?
(Trick question... as it's always for sale to the highest bidder)
