Texans Will Run Texas, Not Euroweenies
European liberals' misguided objection to the death penalty (except for inconvenient babies) has led to sanctimonious demands that the USA conform to their moonbat ideology. The European Union has even had the outlandish gall to ask Texas to enact a moratorium on the death penalty. Robert Black, spokesman for Texas Governor Rick Perry, offers this response:
230 years ago, our forefathers fought a war to throw off the yoke of a European monarch and gain the freedom of self-determination. Texans long ago decided that the death penalty is a just and appropriate punishment for the most horrible crimes committed against our citizens. While we respect our friends in Europe, welcome their investment in our state and appreciate their interest in our laws, Texans are doing just fine governing Texas.
If only this healthy attitude were shared by certain members of the Supremes, who would use foreign laws as precedents in American rulings.
Hat tip: Crush Liberalism.

H*LL! We aren't executing them FAST ENOUGH.
They should get a fair trial, followed by a first-class hanging.

Good for you. Now if only more of my countrymen had the balls to tell these EUnuchs where to get off...

Remember what the stand-up comic Ron White (a Texan) said about Texas and executions? Roughly "every other state is trying to stop executions - mine is putting in an express lane!"
