Sheriff Obstructs Immigration Enforcement
A program called 287(g) is part of the Immigration and Nationality Act. It trains local law enforcement to run the fingerprints of foreign criminals through a national database to see whether they are eligible for deportation. The program can prevent things like illegal aliens with criminal records executing girls on playgrounds.
But in Putnam County, New York, just within commuting distance of NYC, Sheriff Donald Smith refuses to participate — ignoring calls from the Fraternal Order of Police, which regards 287(g) as "a necessary tool."
According to a reliable source, Smith has no law enforcement training, experience, or certification. But he does know how to play politics with our security. He kicks his responsibilities down the road by claiming that the program would have "no significant impact" in Putnam, without immigration enforcement being taken seriously at the national level — something that obviously will never happen under the current administration.
Meanwhile, Putnam County continues to be overrun by perpetually drunken illegals who live in the woods, hang out at school playgrounds, and sometimes rape little girls.
