PBS Had Nation of Islam Vet Nixed Documentary
PBS suppressed the documentary "Islam Versus Islamists: Voices From the Muslim Center" — originally intended to appear as part of their "America at a Crossroads" series — when it turned out that conservatives had been allowed to participate in its creation, and it failed to present Islam in a suitably favorable light. Now we learn that PBS ran the film past the ultra-radical Nation of Islam before it was deep-sixed.
Nation of Islam is renowned for spreading a psychotic and viciously racist ideology that holds that the white man is "the devil" and was created by a black evil scientist, just as PBS is known for spending taxpayers' money to propagandize on behalf of America's enemies, both foreign and domestic.
Director/producer Martyn Burke complained in an email to PBS officials:
Is there anyone who understands that no functioning journalist — or network, or publication can ever allow this kind of outrageous action? This utterly undermines any journalistic independence. … It virtually hands the story to the subject and allows them to become an active party in shaping it. That is advertising, not journalism. Is that not obvious?
PBS moonbats were down on the film from the moment they realized that producer Frank Gaffney and consultant Alex Alexiev are conservatives. Burke was actually asked, "don't you check into the politics of the people you work with?"
As Gaffney reports:
What began as a struggle to prevent people like me from playing in the left's sandbox at PBS mutated into a concerted effort to ensure that a film that told the story of anti-Islamist Muslims never made it on the air. […] There's no doubt that part of what was going on at PBS with our film was a naked antipathy toward conservatives.
The politically homogenous PBS execs ironically condemned the film as a "one-sided narrative" because it reached the conclusion, as Burke puts it, that moderate Muslims "are speaking out in a vacuum and often at great peril and always with great difficultly" — although not with as much difficulty as non-moonbats trying to speak out on PBS.

CAN YOU BELIEVE THIS? San Francisco PBS station KQED last night showed Islam vs. Islamists!!!
It was a good presentation and scary, especially if you're a Muslim who is not terrorist Jihad inclined.
An ad flashed at the end informed that the DVD is available. Go to http://islamdocumentary.com/
This is a site about the film and links to another marketing site wherefrom you can get the show for $25, incl. delivery.
