Norwegian Moose Blamed For Global Warming
From Spiegel Online:
The poor old Scandinavian moose is now being blamed for climate change, with researchers in Norway claiming that a grown moose can produce 2,100 kilos of carbon dioxide a year — equivalent to the CO2 output resulting from a 13,000 kilometer car journey.
Norway is concerned that its national animal, the moose, is harming the climate by emitting an estimated 2,100 kilos of carbon dioxide a year through its belching and farting.
Actually, farts are considered even more harmful to Gaia than CO2, as they contain methane. But Norwegians mustn't feel too guilty about ruining the climate and condemning us all to apocalyptic doom with their 120,000 moose. At least they're not responsible for Ted Kennedy's belching and farting.

As a kid, I used to watch "The Rocky and Bullwinkle Show,"
I don't remember Bullwinkle ripping any farts on the Sunday morning telecast.
Just goes to show you what a villain he was, impressing the kids with his moose-like intelligence, then running off-stage to rip off his farts.
But, not all was lost, kids at six or seven loved to sit around and whiff up farts.
