Muslims and Moonbats Support NYC Madrassa
Posted by Dave Blount at August 21, 2007 10:28 AM

The Muslim–moonbat alliance rallied yesterday in support of the Khalil Gibran International Academy, an "Arab-themed public school" — i.e., madrassa — that will open in Brooklyn September 4. Saudi terror-exporters will be pleased to know that they don't have to finance this one: American taxpayers are picking up the bill.
But not everyone is pleased. The original principal Debbie Almontaser was forced to resign for refusing to condemn the "Intifada NYC" T-shirts hawked by Arab Women Active in Art and Media, a group with which she has been associated.
New York Assemblyman Dov Hikind isn't pleased at all. From his statement:
Do we want a school to teach its students that Hamas militants are freedom fighters, and that Israel is an apartheid state? This school is ill-advised. It will not, as suggested, be a hope for peace; it is a blueprint for anti-Israel and anti-US extremism.
Apparently Hikind hasn't gotten the memo: the word "peace" is now a synonym for anti-US extremism.
