Moonbats Campaign Against Aviation

Moonbats continue to make a nuisance of themselves at Heathrow, where they are demanding that human civilization turn the clock back to sometime prior to the Wright brothers.

The moonbats are incensed by plans to open a new terminal at Heathrow next March and to add another runway around 2020. According to liberal ideology, civilization is supposed to contract, not expand.

There has been some "pushing and shoving" between the envirowackos and police, who incomprehensibly have not restored order by clearing the grounds of the vermin. Commander Jo Kaye of the Metropolitan Police is calling for more "dialogue" with the protesters.

Giving an idea how useful "dialogue" with moonbats would be, protest organizer Alex Harvey barks:

There are certainly times when unlawful action is required in order to force changes that aren't happening fast enough.

Among their demands: an end to air travel. Maybe we should send in Jimmy Carter to negotiate.

That's the irony. Most of them drove or flew there.

Ban the wheel.

It's the only solution.

Ban fire, too.

Then we'll all lie around naked on a glacier and the world will be right.

Also, The dirty little secret behind "Peace Studies.

First, it’s opposed to every value that the West stands for—liberty, free markets, individualism—and it despises America, the supreme symbol and defender of those values. Second, we’re talking not about a bunch of naive Quakers but about a movement of savvy, ambitious professionals that is already comfortably ensconced at the United Nations, in the European Union, and in many nongovernmental organizations.
Galtung has opined that the annihilation of Washington, D.C., would be a fair punishment for America’s arrogant view of itself as “a model for everyone else,” he’s long held up certain countries as worthy of emulation—among them Stalin’s USSR...His all-time favorite nation? China during the Cultural Revolution. Visiting his Xanadu, Galtung concluded that the Chinese loved life under Mao: after all, they were all “nice and smiling.” While “repressive in a certain liberal sense,” he wrote, Mao’s China was “endlessly liberating when seen from many other perspectives that liberal theory has never understood.”

Apparently, airplanes are very dangerous creatures. Breibart notes this story from our friends at AFP (of Magic Bullets fame).

Those airplane attacks destroyed the 110-story towers of the World Trade Center
. See, it was the airplanes' fault. Not the terrorists.

The same way "SUVs" and not drivers are blamed when one of them gets into an accident, or mows down pedestrians, like in North Carolina.

V the K, thanks for the "Peace" link...just got through printing the article out. Once again, it just confirms what right-thinking folks have been warning us about for decades concerning all these so-called "Progressive" movements.

"Commander Jo Kaye of the Metropolitan Police is calling for more "dialogue" with the protesters."

Interesting that when the protest is about something our marxist government doesn't agree with - such as foxhunting or rising fuel tax - the plod are pretty quickly sent in to shut it down with a generous amount of physical force.
This is obviously being allowed to go on so that McBroon can 'justify' his next round of tax hikes on jet fuel and air tickets. These stupid hippie wannabes are doing the government's job for them.
