Korean Moonbats Blame USA For Taliban Terror

If Islamic terrorists kidnap Koreans in Afghanistan, who will moonbats blame? The USA, naturally.

Anti-American sentiment is never far under the surface in South Korea, which apparently will never forgive us for saving it from being conquered and enslaved by the communist North. Unscrupulous politicians are adept at exploiting this. Yelps presidential contender Chun Jung-bae:

The U.S. should come forward as a concerned party given that the war on terror began in the U.S.

You see, we started all this by building skyscrapers right where Muslims could fly hijacked planes into them.

Fellow politician Kim Hyuk-kyu growls:

It's hard to predict what changes the Korean people will experience in their sentiment if the U.S. sticks only to principles and contributes to further damage.

That is, they might resent us even more if we don't encourage future kidnapping by freeing Taliban terrorists. The moonbat outfit Solidarity for Peace and Reunification of Korea has gone so far as to threaten a "massive" candlelight rally if the USA doesn't start bargaining with the Taliban immediately.

Fortunately cooler heads prevail in the South Korean government. Said one official:

Afghanistan is a sovereign nation. If we keep saying, "The U.S. should apply pressure" or "It's the U.S.' responsibility," this will embarrass Afghanistan. If Taliban prisoners are released, they will immediately point their guns at American soldiers.

Presidential spokesman Cheon Ho-seon even noted:

If you believe that the U.S. holds all the keys, that's far from the truth, nor is it helpful in solving problems.

What? Bad things can happen that aren't the responsibility of the USA? Someone get the word to the mainstream media!

Oh if only we would! I remember when people thought it was a good thing to have principles.

No problem, just move our 30,000 soldiers from South Korea to Afghanistan to help find em'.
