Is Castro Finally Dead?

Val Prieto at Babula Blog thinks he is, though Cuba's foreign minister denies it.

The more important question could be: does it matter? The answer is, only if the Cuban people use his death as an impetus to rise up and reclaim their country from communism.

Wiggins sends along some evidence that the evil old tyrant really has croaked at last:

If Castro is really dead, the real question is who will be the first to blame Bush???

I remember when elections were held in Nicaragua under Ortega and his gang; observers noted that almost without exception, Western journalists covering the events were downcast and even weeping at the election results declaring Violeta Chamorra (sp?) as the victor.

Van's photo-chuckle is right in tune with reality, folks!!
