Elizabeth Edwards' Lament

A poignant quote from the wife of presidential candidate John Edwards, aka the Breck Girl:

We can't make John black, we can't make him a woman. Those things get you a lot of press, worth a certain amount of fundraising dollars.

Don't despair, Liz. You can sure come awfully close!

They're discussing Edwards' prospects for a makeover?

Maybe he's going to be on "What NOT to Wear," or "Queer Eye for the Democrat candidate."

Are Mr. & Mrs. Edwards two of the weirdest human beings ever to walk to Earth, or not? Each and every day it's a new insane statement from one or both of them -- Desperation, thy name is "Edwards."

Problem is with John Edwards and the wife:

Both of them think the American public is as stupid as the juries he stood before in his days of medical malpractice litigation in the court room.

Made his fortune by taking advantage of the people's lack of knowledge and common sense about medical procedures. That's ok, before a jury of idiots appeal to the emotions, as is his strategy to get elected President.

His political life is about to come to an end, as it should be.

Where has our American spirit gone to?

Could you imagine a hundred, fifty, or twenty years ago the American public even considering this sissified chimp even being considered for public office?
