British Cities to Impose Inflated "Pollution Charges"
If only global warming moonbattery could be dismissed as a harmless fantasy of human-hating liberals. Unfortunately, it is producing costs that are anything but harmless.
Britain will soon inflict upon itself "pollution charges" of up to £25 a day just to drive into city centers. London's Mayor Red Ken Livingstone plans to introduce the plan in February. At least 10 other British cities may follow with their own levies.
Naturally politically incorrect cars are charged more than ultra high-mileage death traps — even though drivers of safe vehicles are already singled out for extra penalization with the national vehicle excise duty.
Hopefully NYC's lefty Mayor Mike Bloomberg isn't watching.

On a tip from Bill.

Anyone still doubt that ManBearPig is just a big money scam?

Talk about fear mongering. Ken Livingstone scares me. I shall be in Londonistan in two weeks. I'll be the one in the Hijab.

Aren't moonbats against "sprawl"? Making it more and more expensive to drive into the city is a big incentive not to work or build anything in the city.

Deep down inside the moonbats want to make everything outrageously expensive so only the rich can travel. Ford made cars accessible to the average Joe. His foundation and their accomplices are taking that benefit away. I actually wouldn't mind if they just kept all cars out of the city center and let many private companies compete to provide mass trans. As it stands now, the rich can drive and everyone else is consigned to crappy government transport.

You know how there's drug free zones and gun free zones? What we need are global warming free zones. No global warming crap in the zone or you pay a fine for Moonbattery.

You're on to something, Kevin.
A stupid (liberal) free zone would flourish. People would be richer, healthier, happier, more charitable, enjoy more freedoms, be less angry... and have smarter kids.
You know - the way the U.S. used to be.
