BBC Changes Plot Out of Dhimmitude

The BBC has altered plans to depict a fictional terror attack on the show Casualty for fear that acknowledging the existence of Muslim terrorists might offend Muslims. Instead the terrorists will be depicted as animal rights activists.

This is the punishment the animal rights kooks get for not being bloodthirsty in their terrorist activities. But if Jerry Vlasak has his way, they might one day murder their way to the same obsequious treatment Muslims have received since 9/11.

At that point the Beeb may follow the lead of the Burlington Township High School in New Jersey, and portray terrorism as the work of conservative Christians.

The sniveling cowardice of our dhimmified media is a manifestation of a half-submerged cultural death wish that Muslims seem to be able to smell the way dogs smell fear. I can smell it too — and it stinks.

American movie makers pulled this crap years ago with the movie "Sum of All Fears".

I remember that. They also changed the plot so that Jack Ryan's wife didn't know he was a CIA agent. Twits.

Casualty did an animal rights story about 10 years ago and actually managed to do it well, putting across some arguments about treating animals fairly without any moral equivocation about the violence animal rights terrorists use and the consequences of what they do. They even had one get injured trying to save the life of a kid they were about to blow up. I bet this time they'll portray the animal rights people as misguided but well meaning, and the people they kill and maim will all be insufferably evil and disgusting.

Jimbo, you're right about "The Sum of All Fears" -- the Hollyweird Leftist twits ruined the movie by changing Tom Clancy's novel. Instead of Islamofascist terrorists, as written, we got neo-Nazi White Supremacist/Tri-Lateral Commission-types (yeah, those people are much more of a threat to our very existence in this day and time).

I did, however, enjoy Liev Schreiber's portrayal of Clancy's CIA field operative John Clark -- especially the way he took care of the bad guy listening to opera in his easy chair, near the end of the film.

"Instead the terrorists will be depicted as animal rights activists."

Well, that's still good. People need to stop ignoring the threats posed by ecoterrorist groups.
