Michael Moore to Visit Iran
As America's most devoted enemy, Iran naturally qualifies for a visit from liberal icon Michael Moore, who reportedly will be traveling to the land of the ayatollahs to preside over the screening of his latest cinematic attack on America, the aptly titled Sicko.
Needless to say, Moore's propagandistic broadsides against the country that made him rich have a sympathetic audience among Iranian denouncers of the Great Satan. Too bad they can't design the nuclear bombs they're working on to kill all of us except Moore.
If we become involved in hostilities with three-headed lizards from outer space, look for Moore to travel to their planet to show his films and badmouth Earth.
Is there some reason we have to let him back in the country?

They should charge him with treason and prosecute him, if he goes. Consorting, comfort, aid, &c.? Check, check, check, &c. He is a traitor, and it is time that we deal with these scum.

Send him to Iran, just make sure he doesnt get back into the US this time. Maybe we will get lucky and they will cut off his head.

What a SICKO! Maybe Moore will get injured and take advantage of Irans fine health care system - it involves head removal and/or stoning.

I don't suppose it would be fair to 'leak' to the Iranians that he is really a deep-cover CIA agent.

The "Michael Moore is going to Iran" story has been debunked, and was merely a smear attack on him. Please print a retraction. More info on that hoax story can be found here.

Statement in Response to Rumor That Michael Moore is Going to Iran
There is absolutely no truth to the right wing promoted rumor that Michael is going to Iran -- none, zero, zip. This inaccurate rumor is an urban myth right up there with alligators in the sewers of New York City, and it is getting pushed around out there by conservative opponents of Michael who would rather make up stories out of whole cloth than actually engage in a debate on the merits of our broken health care system or why it is that George W. Bush took us to war in Iraq. These right wingers should be spending their time defending why it is that George W. Bush is commuting the sentence of a convicted felon, rather than propagating this right wing trash.

So, VH owes a retraction for a "news" item that was circulating on the intertoobs, and he (and we) commented upon? How about we wait a while and see if Mooreon actually goes there? He and his merry band of propagandist liars don't have a sterling track record when it comes to forthright honesty.

I don't know why a retraction is needed. This is just a blog and apparently not a very credible blog.

So what? Iran is not against USA but against certain foreign policies of USA. That is a huge difference unlike what certain ignorant people want to portray.
Michael Moore is free to go anywhere he wants. I know Iranian regime is bad, but promotions and cultural exchanges are needed to recall ignorance on both sides. Most Iranians are very friendly towards foreigners, sometimes too friendly for their own good. See the CIA coup in Iran during Mosadegh.
The hateful people you see on TV here in Iran, are like Iranian TV constantly showing Neo Nazis and KKK in USA and alluding to the fact that these people represent an average American. That is far from the truth. Iranians generally are very respectful and polite people. For those idiots who lack logic and will not use their brains by joking racial things in response to me, I have no words. They will remain idiots. But the vast majority of Americans are articulate smart and friendly people who like to know about other interesting people as well. An Iranian born American
