G. Is For Gullible
To find examples of the eagerness of moonbats to swallow anything whatsoever that reinforces their foolish prejudices, you don't need to look any farther than the comments right here at Moonbattery, where yesterday a troll named "G." stuck it good to conservatives with this gem:
I remember flipping TV channels in 2000 and there was an old clip of Reagan and another show had Bill Clinton speaking - I kept flipping back and forth b/t the two and was blown away at the difference b/t these two men's intelligence - Bill Clinton was so much more intelligent.
For IQs - see below: [Nixon is the exception but then he had issues that rendered his high IQ not so helpful]
"The study determined the following IQs of each president as accurate to within five percentage points:
147 Franklin D. Roosevelt (D)
132 Harry Truman (D)
122 Dwight D. Eisenhower (R)
174 John F. Kennedy (D)
126 Lyndon B. Johnson (D)
155 Richard M. Nixon (R)
121 Gerald Ford (R)
175 James E. Carter (D)
105 Ronald Reagan (R)
098 George HW Bush (R)
182 William J. Clinton (D)
091 George W. Bush (R)"
http://www.georgewalkerbush.net/presidentialiqs.htm
Do those numbers look believable to you? If not, congratulations, your IQ is probably higher than G.'s. As reader Kevin pointed out, the site referenced above states right across the bottom of the page:
This story is a hoax!
Don't feel bad, G. Fellow moonbats Garry Trudeau and the ideologues at The Guardian fell for it too — although their source probably didn't come with a warning across the bottom of the page.
I wonder if it would make any difference to liberals if all utterances of the Goracle on the topic of global warming were followed by the same warning.

As noted on the previous post when G(ullible) posted the familiar myth about conservatives being bigots:
"G,
So very typical that go spouting that crap about KKK, etc.
Let me ask you a question, have you ever heard of the "Solid South"? Look it up. Look up where the KKK originated. Disgruntled Democrats after the civil war.
Look at the voting record for the Civil Rights Act of 1964 & 1968. Have a look at which party voted for what:
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Civil_Rights_Act_of_1964#By_party
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Civil_Rights_Act_of_1968#Passage_of_the_bill
Oh, and guess who filibustered the Civil Rights Act of 1964? Robert "Sheets" Byrd (D) WV.
So don't come here trying to talk the lib mythology to us, we know the facts and you will get schooled everytime Jack."

I remember getting the hoax email in 2001.

LOVENSTEIN INSTITUTE? LOL! Dumb liberals will fall for just about anything.

Even if this story were true it would mean absolutely nothing. Anyone wanna place bets on who had the highest IQ:
Hitler or FDR?
Ted Bundy or Peanut Carter?
Osama Bin Laden or Nancy Pelosi?

Ah, the typical response. When humiliated, whip out the lawyers?
That's what you're implying, G. You're making the first noise to claim that VH has violated your copyright. What are you going to do, sue him for loss of earnings?
In the US there's a concept of fair use. Here in the UK there's a concept that's quite similar, though more restricted. Most countries provide for a small amount of use of a copyrighted text for the purposes of comment and criticism. Frankly, unless you can prove intent to deprive you of earnings, you haven't got a leg to stand on.
Authorise that.
Posted by: Archonix at July 9, 2007 12:33 PM
Archonix,
This has nothing to do with protecting earnings which I thought you would be all for [another right wing contradiction].
This has to do with privacy and advertising my post to a broader audience by making it a main article.
Posted by: G. at July 9, 2007 12:45 PM
G.
did you get permission from georgewalkerbush.net/presidentialiqs.htm to use THEIR data?
>>Let me ask you a question, have you ever heard of the "Solid South"? Look it up. Look up where the KKK originated. Disgruntled Democrats after the civil war.
Ever examine the circumstances surtrounding the "Reconstruction"? The Southern states were declaired NOT TO BE PART OF THE UNITED STATES, which was what we had been TRYING to tell them durring the whole damn war!.

Take my post off of your main page.
Posted by: G. at July 9, 2007 12:48 PM
Crush Liberalism???
That would be difficult to do - since most of the neo-cons are chickehawks who got deferments and most of the Democrats in office served in the military.
Posted by: G. at July 9, 2007 12:49 PM
Posting on a public website makes it visible for all to see whether or not it's made part of an article. Again, let me point out that under US copyright law, which from your spelling style I assume is your jurisdiction, there is a provision for fair use of copyrighted material for the purposes of criticism and comment, and parody amongst other things. Since most of yoru post actually consists of the content of another web page I really don't think you have much right to be demanding VH take it down.
I'm all for protecting earnings. My point was that you would have difficulty demonstrating a loss of earnings from your comment being posted as an article, seeing as it's mostly not your writing and was posted there for free. The implied license in posting on a public space is that you allow an unlimited distribution of your text. You gave up any claim to privacy in this instance by making your post in a public forum. Genie's out of the bottle now mate.
Posted by: Archonix at July 9, 2007 1:13 PM
Archonix is dead on, G. Sorry. Would you have been this upset had VH posted your comments in a more flattering light? And it's not like anyone really knows who you are, with just an initial for a name and a garble of letters for an e-mail address. The only thing we do know about you is that you hate President Bush and conservatives, and that you run crying to mommy when your feelings get hurt.
Privacy? On the Internet? Right-o, mate. Tell us another!

Something I would like to point out that is Van Helsing's website. He pays for the domain name and the servers to run the site.
As with newspapers and readers' letters to the editor, any correspondence once submitted becomes the property of the publisher and by sending the correspondence the author gives express consent to republish the letter in any fashion.

Pam,
Most people in America - not to mention the rest of the world - dislike Bush.
Posted by: G. at July 9, 2007 1:45 PM
G,
So your justification boils down to the "everyone else is doing it" excuse? Well, I'm glad to see that you put considerable time into unbiased research and reflection before forming your opinion. You sound like one of those people who can't get over how worldly and insightful you are, driving around in your hybrid, listening to NPR, and gobbling up every nugget of shit they drop into your lap. Get over yourself! We aren't nearly as impressed with the smell of your farts as you are.

Your authorization isn't needed, Princess.

Uh-oh, now you've done it, Van! Prepare thyself for a 360-degree snap and a huff of righteous indignation!
Take my post off of your main page.
Get your panties out of a bunch, Snookums. If you're gonna spout off talking points, be prepared to be humiliated by them.
Posted by: Crush Liberalism at July 9, 2007 2:59 PM
You people on the right do the same thing that those on the left do - stereotype and demonize your political opponents.
I don't drive a hybrid and I don't listen to NPR.
I am a Capitalist who also happens to be progressive, with a deep respect for facts and science.
That's it.
Posted by: G. at July 9, 2007 3:16 PM
Huntington/Ashland Kentucky is a hotbed of progressive dumbasses. G., you voluntarily posted on this thread, which is part of a larger blog being administered by Van Helsing. The moment that you press "Post," the drivel that you just typed doesn't belong to you any longer, it belongs to Van Helsing. You comment without the slightest expectation of privacy, so you have no standing here to do a damned thing about VH posting your comment. Go buy a clue.
Posted by: skh.pcola at July 9, 2007 3:51 PM
G, that last post is a joke. You are a Liberal, capital L. Sure you try to hide it and sugar coat it by using terms like "progressive".
What exactly are you progressing toward? What "facts and science" are you respecting? Maybe the "science" of Al Gore? You know the (quoty-fingers) "science" that the planet Earth frozen over and melted off glaciers over Billions of years but THIS TIME, it's America.
And I'm sure bein' all up in the science like you are that after you have viewed 4D ultrasounds of unborn babies you have "progressed" away from Roe v. Wade's assertion that unborn babies are "unviable tissue mass"? I mean after all today's modern science (of which you have a deep respect) clearly demostrates that the unborn are indeed human.
Or how do you feel about the attempts by your fellow "progressives" to progress places like Wal-Mart into extinction? Not very capitalist now is it? I mean afterall, "progressives" stand up for the little guy. And every good progressive knows the little guy would rather pay $60 for a pair of jeans for their kids than $15 at friggin' Wal-Mart.
So go ahead, spit some of your "facts" and "science". You pick the issue, economy, abortion, religion, global warming, the Middle East, whatever you want. But I warn you better have your crap straight or I'll force feed it to you like I did that little KKK remark.
Bring it.

Your blog is funny but twisted.

Did your old man used to call you a sissy? That usually explains the insecure heterosexual male's use of that word [as if you are that self aware].

Damn, you've got him figured out. Yes, his dad used to call him a sissy, which has made VtK want to secretly fellate men his whole life. The horror.
(/sarcasm off)

G, son, you are as sharp as a velvet bag of styrofoam peanuts.
76.2% of Congress (that would be the House and Senate, G) have no militry service, only 23.8 do.
By party, 13.3 % of those who served are Republicans, 10.5 % Democrat.
In the House alone, only 22.6 % have served, of those 12.7 % are Republican, only 9.9% Democrat.
In the Senate alone, only 29% have served, of those 16% are Republican, and 13 % Democrat.
All stats from WhoServed.com
Please come back when you no longer resemble a human Klein bottle.

G, when I was in school, I made it a point never to "like" or "dislike" someone or something just because that's what "everyone else" was doing. I also found that "everyone else" was usually comprised of the group of people who designated themselves the arbiters of what was cool, and they were usually the nastiest, shallowest bunch of people around. So when you say "most" people in America and around the world don't like Bush, I don't find myself worrying too much about being on the "wrong" side, as real life does not hinge on silly popularity contests. I believe history will validate many of Bush's policies, most of all his national security policies. Dislike him all you want, however...it's no skin off my nose.
Posted by: Pam at July 9, 2007 5:26 PM
G., this is really funny. You didn't know that the IQ story was a hoax, did you? You posted it thinking it the real stuff. That's the only thing that explains your hissy fit. You're embarrassed because you really are that naive and stupid and bigoted.
And you're embarrassed because everyone knows you for a fool.
LOL!!!! Too rich! Too rich!

Now THAT'S funny. How can you say that after you've been caught lying? You're just like an abortionist who has a "deep respect for life".
Posted by: Anonymous at July 10, 2007 4:54 AM
For the record, the Republican party was against slavery (while the Democrats were largely for it) and in favor of women's voting rights (which Democrats opposed).
Posted by: Anonymous at July 10, 2007 9:32 AM
You guys stop picking on G(aylord).
Since these morons stumble through life thinking they've been inoculated against facts, reason, and logic, it's terribly painful when you kick the various pillars of their respective belief systems right out from under them.

I want G to keep posting and posting and posting.
G, PLEASE don't stop. Leno wasn't that funny tonight, I want some good laughs. Please, post some more funny self-righteous comments.
I noticed G hasn't posted any rebuttals lately. And I want him to say something else off-the-wall that proves every case against him. He's the most obviously gooberish lefty we've had in a while.
funny stuff....
