Diane Sawyer Takes Up Comedy
If Diane Sawyer's career in the liberal establishment media ever hits the rocks like Katie Cupcake's, at least she will have her comedy skills to fall back on. Wrapping up a segment on shirkers of jury duty for "Good Morning America," co-host Sawyer got some yuks with this sidesplitter:
You know, I wanted to sit on a jury once and I was taken off the jury. And the judge said to me, "Can, you know, can you tell the truth and be fair?" And I said, "That's what journalists do." And everybody in the courtroom laughed. It was the most hurtful moment I think I've ever had.
I'll cry for you, Diane, just as soon as I stop guffawing.

On a tip from Eneils.

Don't you guys know here at Moonbattery, com that 90% of the Country is not like you.
You represent the most far right 10%.
That is called EXTREISM.

well, she is married to mike nichols - king of broadway comedy.
g. - if you really believed that, you wouldn't be here with your lame attempts at something that resembles unreality.
Posted by: nanc at July 12, 2007 8:48 PM
nanc,
I want to help you. Is that a crime?
Posted by: G. at July 12, 2007 8:51 PM
You guys don't want to discuss the issues - this is a waste of time.
You just want to be stroked by people who think exactly like you.
I am leaving for good.
Bye.

G, would like to pray for you but need your real name. Could ya humor us this once, please?
Posted by: fellowes at July 12, 2007 9:02 PM
Ah come on sport! Don't run off and sulk.
I work with a couple of gay guys and they're not half as fun as you.

Yet more projection from our martyr - as he turns from his computer to his playstation.

Whoever wrote that is not me. Those posts are not from me. I will never leave here until all of you pledge allegiance to St. Chavez and St. Mugabe and the holy trinity of Marx/Stalin/Mao.
Van Helsing, please ban the IP address of the person that is impersonating me.
Posted by: G. at July 12, 2007 9:38 PM
wtf would anybody want to impersonate you?
Posted by: nanc at July 12, 2007 9:41 PM
That post was not from me either.
Don't incur my wrath all you racist, fascist, bigoted, hate mongering neo-con knuckle dragging Jesus Freaks.
You have no idea what I can do to you.
Van, I demand that you ban the IP address of the person impersonating me. I think it's Jimbo, or maybe nanc, or maybe you Van, you bible thumping imperialist white supremacist skin head!

Van,
If you really do not ban G. permanently, you will have lost this reader for good. The comments have become exclusively a personal pissing match with him.
Make your choice: a sane long term reader or a johnny come lately childish troll.
Ban G. now.

I agree with Doug. I like this site. I have a link for it on my own site. I even keep my eyes open for things for this site to use.
But I can't stand G's obsessive-compulsive desire to troll here. It's like a turd in my favorite swimming pool.

I used to be amused (yesterday), now I am just tired and bored of the same predictable drivel coming from the G troll. A G ban would be a good thing.

I fourth the motion, VH. I took up for G. when the gay-bashing was in full swing, but he contributes nothing substantial. Jettison that crap.

I think there's a real 'G' who many of us have thoughtfully debated and gotten somewhat thoughtful replies. Then there's the alter ego 'g'. It's my guess that the disruptive alter ego could be someone who is regular here and has zero tolerance for homosexuals (thoughtful or otherwise) and is simply on a smear campaign to make the rest of us hate G as much as he does.
Did that make sense? Oh well. How 'bout them Cowboys?!!
On Topic: To a 50+ guy, Dianne Sawyer is one good looking moonbat. But, nonetheless, still a moonbat (sigh). The fact that she was hurt by the courtroom laughter rather than laughing along with them is so typical of liberals - they got no sense of humor. Man, it must suck to be them.

I have no personal feelings one way or another about G.
I think his comments are illustrative of a certain component of the left's ideology.
They started out early in the Bush Administration of going after Bush as a person. Stole the election.. dumb.. corrupt.. his twins party too much. Then whal-la, he won 2004, and the ideologues started after his his strategy on the War on Terror(an expression the democrats banned to make us safer). Whatever he is for, they are against. It's a new and different kind of war and the Bush administration has made some mistakes.
At this point, the left has fallen into the cesspool democrat politics. Bush caused all the terrorism, the radical faction of Islamn would not exist, defying history and the current situation if we only had democratic party control of the government.
I think G. tells us what kind of leaders he wants to elect at Federal level. Politicians in the bottom of the cesspool, who would sacrifice our national security to ensure that he can tell us about Peace and Justice, not Freedom and Liberty.

I think we shouldn't ban G. He is fun to banter with, and doesn't bother me in slightest.
BTW G, your wrong about the us being the minority in the country. Look at the numbers of Rush, Hannity, Beck, et al. Compare them to how badly Air America is doing. Frankly, most people are conservitives some just don't want to admit it.
Posted by: Joshua at July 13, 2007 6:12 AM
I think G. might really have left. If he comes back and starts monopolizing the comments again he will be banned by popular demand.
Posted by: Van Helsing at July 13, 2007 6:31 AM
VH, fair enough.
Joshua, I think conservatalk radio is really popular because the liberals who I know don't have the attention spans to just listen...they have to have moving pictures to keep them entertained. They are not unlike mentally slow children who rely on bright and shiny stuff to fire their synapses. Conservatives can be intellectually engaged without requiring visual stimulation. IMO.

Diane Sawyer,
Probably not a bad piece off ass, but an ass with bad pieces of brains.
Posted by: Eneils Bailey at July 13, 2007 9:59 AM
There may be a fake G. If so he/she should be kicked in the ass HARD. "It's" stupid comments are sheer crap and unworthy of a human being.
But there may be another explination: G. is posting BOTH sets in order to play the victim. The posts that can be identified as the "real" G.'s often resort to the Liberal whine.
Posted by: KHarn at July 13, 2007 11:33 AM
Ya know, Diane Sawyer could have just stopped at the line, "And the courtroom burst out laughing" and said, "HAHAHA. Of course, I was joking when I said that." But she exposed herself by admitting she was hurt!
Geez, Diane! Are you that out of touch, and so deeply in denial of your own bias?!?!
