Why MUST every criticism of Christianity be answered with a condemnation of Islam. My commetns have NOTHING to do with Islam. Islam is a crap religion. So is Christianity. Your conditions are pretty ridiculous given that the "christianity" has no authority to "order" people to do anything, nor is there a centralized Muslim authority that does the same. Thankfully, most Christians don't actually practice a true form of Christianity anymore, but some watered down Jesus-Lite version, taking parts they can live with and tossing off the parts that don't fit their materialistic lifestyles or personal agendas. Al-Qaeda is not a mainstream, centralized Muslim orgainzation, so don't start with that shit. Thankfully, the power of the corrrupt church has been largely stripped away form them by freer thinking people. But, believe me if they could regain their power and have their way, we'd see even more beating and murdering in the world. When the church did actually have control and were capable of "ordering" people, they were among the most brutal, sick, and corrupt institutions in the history of the world.

But for the sake of argument, let's take a look at the holocaust and the Catholic Church's cooperation with the NAzi party. Given the fact that the Nazi's and the Catholic Church felt they were doing "God's work" by ridding the world of the pestulant Jew, the Catholic Church refused to denounce Nazi activities, and it could be argued they supported and encouraged them. But that was an ancient 60 years ago, so I guess you won't acknowledge this.

Christianity has also been used to offically defend and support Apartheid in South Africa (this is in the last century, at least), slavery in the US, witch hunts, murderous crusade campaigns, etc, etc, etc... The Catholic church has serious problem with pedophelia, which it has been reluctant to address and acknowledge for a serioulsy long time.
