New York Times Doing Its Part For Shamnesty

If the New York Times has a redeeming quality, it is that its ham-handed propagandizing is so over the top that no reasonable person would ever mistake it for objective information. Here's how the Gray Lady depicts the supporters and opponents of the Senate's outrageous amnesty bill, which is opposed by 80% of the population.

Against amnesty:

The New York Times isn't a newspaper. It's a cartoon.

Hat tip: Ace of Spades HQ, on a tip from V the K.

It could have been worse. They could have gone with their original ideas of having Superman flying overhead waving the American flag in the "For Amnesty" photo, and having the guy in the "Against Amnesty" photo burning a cross.

I especially like the way members of the pro-amnesty crowd are all looking off into the middle distance, into the light. That's about as subtle as a train wreck. Couldn't they find any sturdy handsome peasants to pose on a tractor in front of a collective farm's wheat field?

That Ace is hilarious! His own photo comparison at the bottom, specifically the one of "Sloth" from the movie The Goonies with its caption, made me laugh so hard I cried!

Here's a pic of Rosie O'Donnell's kid you probably won't see in the MSM. Apparently, she's training to be one of Rosie O'Dougnut's bodyquards. Or Qaddafi's.

NYT photographer: You really have nice teeth. Like a movie star. Those are yours?

Man being accosted: Naw, not the fronts. Lost them in an accident.

NYT: Hey, lets have some fun. Take out your front teeth and I'll take some funny pictures of you. Just for fun. We're not going to use them for anything. I just like to take pictures.

I'm surprised that they didn't photoshop the white guy in the top photo out.

V, I always knew Rosie O was a little too sympathetic to the terrorists. I just didn't know she was training her kids to join them...
I half expected to see a sign next to that kid saying something like "Defeat Bush, support the caliphate."
Oh wait, "peace protestors" already ARE using a rather similar slogan!!!

Eric, there's actually a lot of skin color variation among Mexicans (ever see Mexican director Guillermo del Toro's blue eyes?). You see, the white Americans vs brown Mexicans myth is just necessary in order to say that opposition to illegal immigration is all about racism.

If that is the orignal photo from the Times, it is photoshopped. That gap in his teeth is photoshopped if you zoom in you can see it.

Heck, you don't even have to zoom in...I noticed it at first glance!!!
