Must-See TV
PBS blew $675,000 of our money on a documentary exploring the difference between peaceful Muslims and the ones who are trying to annihilate our civilization. But when they saw the finished product, PBS execs decided it was "alarmist, overreaching and unfair" — i.e., not sufficiently sympathetic to the terrorist maniacs who are trying to kill us. So they sat on the project, refusing to air it. Instead they ran "fair" material like Bill Moyers' long-winded denunciations of America.
But now Fox News has gotten hold of Muslims Against Jihad, and is going to put it on tonight, hosted by the lovely E.D. Hill. Tune in at 9 PM Eastern.

On a tip from Bergbikr.
Update:
My apologies, the show was preempted because they found Jesse Davis' body. As The Paperboy notes, it was scheduled to run again at 3 AM Eastern, and Fox News is sure to reschedule in prime time.
Update 2:
According the Fox News site, this will air at 9:00 Eastern this evening (Sunday, June 24).

Comments
This story has been kicking around for a few months. It is clear that PBS commissioned the project and then "after further review" reversed the play. Too much political correctness in the booth.
Thanks for the heads-up on this, I will make sure I catch it tonight.

Bergbikr and Van, thanks. I'll be in front of the tube if at all possible.

The producer is Martyn Burke.
A few years ago he did a similar documentary, about how the Soviets were infiltrating Western society, and again, it wasn't shown.
Then, he took the research and wrote a book titled _The Commissar's Report_, which will leave you laughing hysterically at the antics of the characters while trembling with fear at the points they are making. I encourage you (and everyone else) to hunt up a copy and read it.

Seems to have been preempted by breaking news of the discovery of Jessie Davis' body. Set your VCR, or stay up 'till 3 AM Eastern. They'll probably reschedule for primetime.

Will do thanks

The show was pre-empted by the droning on of Geraldo about Jesse Davis. Geraldo, ever the fool, even introduced one woman as the neighbor of the boyfriend who will be charged with Ms. Davis' murder only for the woman to say she was NOT a neighbor but lived in a neighboring TOWN. There is not enough Nexium to let me listen to Geraldo (real name Gerald)who is as big a media whore as Cindy Sheehan only better dressed.
The show was, according to Foxnews.com, scheduled again today (Sunday) at 3:00 p.m.ET. It has been taken off. Now in it's place is Ollie North.
WTF is going on? One has to think that pressure was brought to bear on Fox that it would totally remove the show. Do I smell the stink of CAIR?
When Fox News starts caving to the P.C. crowd, we are hopelessly lost for there will be not one conservative outlet left untouched.
Fairness Doctrine, anyone?

It looks like F.N.C. may be morphing into just one more tabloid-type cable channel because of pressure to conform to some upper-crust "moderate's" idea of what makes good ratings. Something as important as the "Islam Vs. Jihadists" program being preempted by a non-earth-shaking, sleazy murder story* smells like P.C. in the works somewhere.
*Let's be honest: the only reason the Jesse Davis story is constantly being blasted at full volume is the White woman/Black man angle, which is one of the Media Culture's favorite obsessions. If it's "pretty" or "chic" (who can forget the Natalee Holloway case????), it takes precedence over all else.

Yup it wasent on at 3 either. Looks like they folded like a cheap suit, yet another victory for Islam and Allah.

I have to agree with Toa that, while the Jesse Davis story is not trivial, it should be on local and regional news like other murder and missing person stories. I can see CNN jonesing for a new O.J. but to see Fox giving in to peer pressure is unfortunate.

The 3 AM airing didn't happen. Replaced by "Red Eye", another late night SNL knockoff, similar to the Half Hour News Hour. But they're still promising to put it on at 9 PM, 12 Midnight Eastern.
Yeah, Geraldo is always a self-aggrandizing dork. I don't see the anti-reverse-racism card in the Davis story so much as the sensationalism of the murder of the week, like an X-Files show attracting ghoulish murder mongers. Meanwhile, the guy that's been making bombs in his garage in Longmont has gone completely under the radar except for the local rag. The Boulder police sent him home and told the neighbors they're safe, without determining why he had books on revenge.

Just finished watching it, as it did air Sunday at 9 pm ET. The host, E.D. Hill, was a bit annoying because she cut off Martyn Burke several times during the commentary before commercial breaks, but I'll give her the benefit of the doubt as there were time restraints. The whole thing was well done. PBS should be embarrassed, but they aren't. I hope this show did well in the ratings.

Just got through wayching it; great stuff (good grief- those poor women). No, P.B.S. will not be embarrassed...it's been said that one has to possess moral standards in order to be shamed, and the only "standards" they display in this case is the time-dishonored Moonbat trend of bending over backwards to not offend entities which they TRULY fear. If they feared us who make up the "Far Right" as much as they claim to, we would surely be spared all the hatchet jobs, sneering denigrations, etc. that we are subjected to, wouldn't we?
