Ban Ki-moon: Global Warming Caused Darfur
If it's bad, then it was caused by global warming — at least according to moonbats. UN Secretary General Ban Ki-moon even blames human-caused climate change for the genocide in Darfur.
According to Ki-moon's tortured logic, the slaughter of Africans by Arabs is all about weather. Global warming has allegedly caused insufficient rain, no doubt thanks to our using the wrong kind of light bulbs, so African farmers have had to fence in their land to prevent overgrazing by Arab herds. Thus the bloodshed.
So far as I know, moonbats have not yet managed to tie AIDS to the global warming hoax. But I'm sure they're working on it.

On a tip from V the K.

There was a time when I would've been absolutely stunned by this kind of stupid, amoral "logic". That time is long past...

It seems that we can blame everything on global warming. I'm going to try to blame my bank over draft on GW.

One question. Does this mean that the Arabs in question are innocent? It seems that would follow the same tortured logic. Too bad Al Gore didn't pick up on this one for AIT. Maybe the next version.

Yes, Jev, it means exactly that- as far as the cretins at the U.D. (United Dictators) are concerned, anyway. In order for perpetrators to be blamed for their crimes, they have to belong to a group which is not protected by "Official Victim of U.S. or Israeli Imperialism/Racism" status as prescribed by contemporary Moonbattery.

The real reason for the atrocities in Darfur can be summed up by the following:
THE MOUNTAIN sheep are sweeter,
But the valley sheep are fatter;
We therefore deem’d it meeter
To carry off the latter.
We made an expedition;
We met an host and quell’d it;
We forced a strong position
And kill’d the men who held it

Of course, they completely ignore the fact that rainfall in the sahel has increased dramatically over the last decade.

Mr. Secretary-General: It don't rain much in Darfur cause it's a f---in' DESERT! What is so difficult to understand about that? The reason there is violence in Darfur, approaching true genocide, is that there are MUSLIMS in Darfur -- what's so difficult to understand about that?
Sorry, for a moment there I actually attributed logic, reason and rationality to a global-warming toady -- my bad!

I don't know, rather than being upset, I'm kinda laughing at the notion of global warming relieving the koranimals from their responsibility for the global killing spree. It's like a perfect storm of Moonbat cognitive degeneration. A sarcastic take on a parody of a joke.

Or maybe the death cult of Islam is the reason. Of course no one will say that lest they be called intolerant.

I guess I can almost understand how the current level of 'global warming' is a cause for genocide. All I have to do is hear the words 'global warming' and I have an undeniable urge to slap Al Gore. By the time I've heard the term 30, 40, 50 times over the course of a day I have an undeniable urge to slap ALL liberals. If silly liberals were a race or ethnic group (choke) I would then be guilty of genoslap.
I also thought it interesting how this article falls short of telling the real genocide story. "When Darfur's land was rich, he said, black farmers welcomed Arab herders and shared their water." To finish this thought; "the Arabs (Muslims), after being welcomed began their quest for domination by murdering the black farmers." They've taken a Muslim supremecy genocide story and turned into a global warming story. If you read between the lines, the finger points back to us (US) because of the 'manmade' reference. This means you and I are responsible for the Muslims murdering black farmers in Darfur. How convenient for Al Gore and his crooked cronies.

It don't rain much in Darfur cause it's a f---in' DESERT!
I just had a flashback to the late, great Sam Kinison:
"You see this? It's sand. Do you know what it will be in 20 years? SAND!!!! Move out of the f'ing desert!!! We have deserts in America, but we don't LIVE THERE, because that's NOT where the f'ing food grows!"

"We have deserts in America, but we don't LIVE THERE, because that's NOT where the f'ing food grows!"
Actually alot of liberlas live in the Desert Southwest. But they still complain about how dry it is....
