UN Picks Basket Case Zimbabwe to Head Sustainable Development Commission
Socialist dictator Robert Mugabe has converted Zimbabwe "from the breadbasket of Africa to the basket case of Africa" by expropriating farms run by whites and giving them to blacks, who burnt the crops and then sat around starving. His regime features 70% unemployment and 2,000% inflation. Households are limited to four hours electricity use per day.
Naturally the United Nations wants to reward this enlightened regime. Zimbabwe is expected to be appointed head of the Commission on Sustainable Development.

A black Leftist who persecutes and kills whites will always find acclaim at the U.N., and in most all Western media. No surprise here.

Prosperity and economic development is truly a state of mind and not a governmental decree.
You have the Socialist left bent on thinking that the people who only one generation back thought that killing off productive citizens and installing communist and socialist could improve the lifestyles of of people who hunted pigs in the bush.
We will see what pork chops as compared to exploiting the talent and utilizing the resources of your citizens will do for you.
Sad, but true, Africa has more natural resources that could be exploited to provide for the safety and well-being of its citizens.

Recently, a report came out concerning young men leaving Zimbabwe to find work elsewhere (in South Africa). Because they're illegal, they are deported via train back to Zimbabwe. A lot of these young men never make it back alive because they'd rather commit suicide by jumping off these trains than return to a starving hopeless country. Meanwhile in the Sudan, Christians have been the slaves of their muslim intruders for YEARS and none did a damned thing to help that situation either, especially the U. f'ing N. Only a few small groups such as Christian Solidarity made efforts and they were roundly criticized for their work. Obviously, the U.N. and all those socialists/commies who turned their backs all these years and encouraged these unforgivable acts don't believe there's a God, nor do they believe they're asses are going to pay for this. But I know otherwise and patiently wait for that day.

There has to be a way to rid ourselves of the UN. What a Frankensteins monster.

In the sixties the Leftists HATED the UN because they saw it as an anti-communist organisation. After the fall of the USSR they EMBRACED it as the best hope for a "world government".

Well.. in the UN's defense, Zimbabwe certainly looks like they've reached an easily sustainable level..

phuknjrk, good point. What do they mean by 'sustainable development?' None.

The UN is like the league of nations before it, a good idea that got trashed by a bunch of dictators. Time for it to be shut down too.

Yep. This is the same UN (through The World Bank) that ran Executive Outcomes out of Sierra Leone back in the 90s, eventhough they had stopped the butchering scum from hacking people to pieces with machetes. Their reason? Well, it was unseemly that EO negotiated for a hefty contract ($15 million US and diamnond mining concessions) from the poor Sierra Leone.
What the F*CK good are diamonds and other resources to you if your chances of losing a limb (let alone your life) to some machete-wielding psycho are incredibly high? The high-minded International Community hung the Sierra Leoni out to dry when the 'Blueberries' had to run for their lives a mere year after EO's contract was forcibly terminated.

That's a wallet picture for most of the unconscionable thugs at the UN. Most of them probably have a second pic of this scene an hour later on their living room walls.
A liberal once explained to me why we need to stay in the UN : 'It gives us the right to a vote'...she smiled happily.
