Top Hurricane Predictor Denounces Global Warming Hoax

Colorado State University scientist William Gray, famous in Florida as a hurricane predictor, denounced climate change hysteria at the Governor's Hurricane Conference in Fort Lauderdale Friday.
Gray pointed out that there is little evidence that CO2 or any other greenhouse gas has any effect on hurricane power or frequency. He also observed that cuts in carbon emissions would harm the economy while providing little or no environmental benefit. He is "appalled" by the global warming hoax:
I think it's grossly exaggerated. With all the problems this country has to face, this is a problem that's not as serious as they say, and we can't do anything about it anyway.
Florida Today describes Gray as an "old-school maverick scientist who prefers observational data to modern computer modeling" — i.e., the kind of modeling that allows unscrupulous scientists to come up with whatever terrifying sci-fi scenarios desired by the moonbat bureaucrats who provide them with our tax money in the form of grants.
