Steal Today, Starve Tomorrow

The rogue regime of socialist Hugo Chavez continued its looting campaign today by stealing 18 offshore drilling platforms from foreign oil companies.

The chance of any investment money coming into the Venezuelan kleptocracy — or into any Latin American country deemed likely to degenerate into one — shrivels further every time Chavez lays his paws on someone else's property. As with communist dictators before him, when he finds he has run out of wealth to expropriate, there will be no way to generate more.

Only China and Iran will invest in Venezuela, not for a financial return, but to have a cat's paw in the Western Hemisphere to exploit in their maneuverings against the free world. The Soviet Union used Cuba this way for decades, doing little to improve the miserable standard of living.

The outlook for Venezuela is bleak in the extreme. If the cancer personified by Chavez spreads, Latin America will become hell on Earth in our own backyard.

OO-GO Chavez - another Castro - potentially worse!

Will Hugo get on board with this nut and reduce his population by 85%? If so, he will make Pol Pot look like an angel. Plus John Travolta will need to ground his personal air force - permanently.

"A world full of good news
By Jeff Jacoby, Globe Columnist | May 13, 2007

FEELING CROWDED? Paul Watson is. The founder and president of the Sea Shepherd Conservation Society writes that human overpopulation is "a virus . . . killing our host the planet Earth," and so the number of people living in the world should be slashed by 85 percent.

"No human community should be larger than 20,000 people," Watson insists in a new essay. "We need to radically and intelligently reduce human populations to fewer than one billion." He describes mankind as "the AIDS of the Earth," and calls for an end to cars, planes, and all ships save those powered by sail."

You don't need to be a fortune teller to see the future of Venezuela. We can expect a large migration of Venezuelans escaping Hugo's communist paradise.

The good news is that soon we will be able to buy Citgo gas without guilt. Because soon NO ONE will be buying oil from Venezuela because Venezuela's oil production will be in the TOILET!
