NBC's Fair and Balanced Coverage of the Mexican Invasion
To get an idea of just how fair and balanced MSM coverage of the Mexican invasion has been, here's a picture of a cameraman for Houston's NBC affiliate KPRC, filming a pro–illegal immigrant rally today.

Yes, that's a Mexican flag mounted on his camera.
If moonbattery had been this advanced in 1941, we would have had the Japanese propaganda ministry tell us what happened at Pearl Harbor.
On a tip from Wiggins.

What did NBC do, just grab the nearest leaf-blower and hand him a camera? I think that guy trimmed my hedge last weekend.

Don't worry, The UN is on the case. I think we know what they've already decided about the treatment of "migrants" in the US.

Who's gonna do your work for you when they kick the illegals out? People who demand a decent wage, and some worker's rights and benefits. You'll be the first ones to complain that you have to pay too much for everything then....Hell this country is built on the exploited labor of slaves and immigrants.(100 years of free slave labor, another hundred of cheap migrant labor)Don't most of these migrants work for wealthy wingnuts who don't want to actually hire people legally and pay insurance, health benefits, decent wages, etc.
Hell, Ed's here bragging about hiring these guys to do his dirty work for next to nothing. Why don't you cast some blame on those who encourage these migrants? I say ED is the problem....not Jose...

Anonymous, I think that Ed wrote was "tounge in cheek," but you're absoultely right. It's just as wrong to hire illegals to trim hedges as it is to do hire them for anything else. Decent wages and tighter constraints on welfare and workplace enforcement would go a long way to solving the problem. The situation as it is really shows the level of corruption in our country.

Thanks for demonstrating the left's total lack of sanity or humor, Anon. Ed was doing what most of us would call "joking." Google it!
Who will do those jobs? Americans and legal immigrants, that's who. Maybe some of our obese teenagers can get off their asses and work for a while. And once we have a secure border situation, and once those who hire illegals are paying serious penalties, then we can look at some sort of temporary worker program.
The Japanese permit very little immigration, and they are developing robots to deal with menial jobs. Robots, how cool is that?

And, for the record, when I have lawn work to do, I do it myself or pay one of my kids or a kid from my neighborhood or church to do it. And I clean my own house.
Seriously, Americans need to get off our asses a little more.

Seeing as I do all of my yard work and house cleaning myself, I can say that the "cheap wages" paid to illegals don't benefit me at all. If there is a cheap alternative for people who desire these services, they'll take it. If all illegals were deported tomorrow and prices suddenly went up, people who really wanted the services would pay them.
Slavery was abolished nearly 150 years ago, so there's no need to bring up that old chestnut. Are you concerned about the slavery that continues to flourish in Northern Africa and the Middle East? Or is that okay because it's a cultural difference? And since these people are sneaking over our border, they put themselves in the position of being exploited. I agree that those who knowingly hire illegal aliens should be punished, by fines and even jail time for repeat offenders.
But Anonymous doesn't even look to the reason people are sneaking in...their own countries are such messes that they will risk all to get what they consider to be a decent wage. Now that Mexico has a new president, perhaps some much-needed reforms will take place that will encourage Mexicans to stay home and prosper. In the meantime, I am all for building a fence and enforcing deportation. Why should we be the world's welfare office?

I'll tell you who will do those jobs, the same schmucks who did those menial tasks for decades before FDR's New Deal gave America entitlement programs that encouraged people to be lazy: The welfare bums & other assorted societal leaches. The very idea that the US economy is dependant on the labor of illegal aliens,is a scurrilous lie brought to us by the marxist vermin who continually scream about "social justice". NO EMPLOYEMNT FOR ILLEGAL ALIENS,NO HEALTHCARE FOR ILLEGAL ALIENS,NO EDUCATION FOR ILLEGAL ALIENS,NO HOUSING FOR ILLEGAL ALIENS,NO SOCIAL SERVICES FOR ILLEGAL ALIENS & FINALLY,NO VOTING RIGHTS FOR ILLEGAL ALIENS. Cut them off from all of the above and most will leave willingly. The problem is that our so-called "leaders" lack the gonads & spine for such a neccesary move.

hmmmm...my leaf blower is electric and blows at about 150 mph...great for small animals on the deck...

Let's face it, these illegals come here because our country is great and their's if f***** up.
And people who honestly think the work simply won't get done without illegals are only kidding themselves.
