NBC's "ER" Degenerates Into Hyperbolic Jihadist Propaganda
Ever wonder what kind of over-the-top anti-American propaganda people watch on TV over in the Arab world? My guess is it's a lot like the season finale of NBC's "ER" — the same show that launched the career of the insufferably smug barking moonbat George Clooney.
In one scene, characters ridicule DHS's successful efforts to defend us from the next 9/11 as election year tactics. In another, it's implied that right-wingers shoot up a peaceful anti-war protest. But here's the part that would really make Osama bin Laden smile:
A character named Kyle served in Iraq as an interpreter. He eats a whole bottle of pain pills in an apparent suicide attempt. CNS News takes it from there:
While Kyle was having his stomach pumped, Dr. Archie Morris heard him repeating a phrase in Arabic. When the patient was more coherent, the doctor asked him what he had been saying.
Kyle responded in Arabic, and then translated: "'Please don't hurt me. I've done nothing wrong. God have mercy.' I must have translated that a million times in Iraq, man. It didn't matter. They didn't listen to me any more than they listened to prisoners."
"Who didn't listen to you?" Morris asked.
"The interrogators," Kyle said. "The interrogators, they didn't--." At that point, Kyle broke down, crying and shaking.
A nurse asked: "You saw them beat the prisoners?"
"Beat, burn, other things," Kyle replied.
"You mean torture?" Morris said.
"Most of them that we questioned didn't even know anything," Kyle responded. "They were innocent. I tried to convince the interrogators, but they didn't believe me. So they kept hurting them. Everybody just kept translating their cries."
If we had been the sort of people to tolerate blatant pro-enemy propaganda during WWII, we'd be speaking German now. If we continue to let it eat away at our belief in ourselves now, it is a sure bet that we will lose our struggle with radical Islam.
At least our future Islamic masters might rid us of the sort of squishy, treasonous moonbat vermin who produce shows like ER.

That's the show about the doctors right? I thought it was called Scrubs.

No harm done. Their viewers are self-evidently stupid liberals who believe that crap already...both of them.

I stopped watching after the first or second season.

George Clooney got his first big break on the series "The Facts of Life". Up till then, it was a decent family show. His part was unnecessary, it did nothing to improve the show, and it was obviously created for him as a favor to someone. Although insignificant.....it still is one of the 10,000 reasons I don't watch T.V. anymore.

Ticks me off. At least it's on a show that nobody watches and on a chanel that nobody watches. It is sad that we read about all these things going on and all we do is stand here and shake our fists!

I've never watched the thing - now I know I never will.

This episode is conclusive proof that the US tortures its prisoners. The cast of ER are brave for portraying this dramatization of what really could have happened.
Word is that Chavez is funding Danny Glover's next two movies in order to reward him for his sheep-like support.

What reward does the staff at ER expect from Al Qaeda?

"What reward does the staff at ER expect from Al Qaeda?"
Uh, Freedom Now, how do I break this to you gently? ER is a TV show and as such doesn't have a "staff." It has a crew and actors. It also has a "writer" who yes, you've guessed it, makes it all up! We call this "fiction."
But let's do a reality check. Prisoners are tortured? Beaten and burned? Yup, happens all the time, my friends, in just about every country on the planet.
Sure, I hear you say, but Americans don't do that shit. We're the guys in the white hats, remember?
You know, you're right. I forgot. We are.

Im finished with ER - I still watched it this season, but that episode was it...
I felt like throwing a brick into the TV screen.
The first episode of its final season in September is called "The War Comes Home" - that tells me all I need to know.
No wonder ERs ratings are tanking - at one time it was one of the best shows on TV, the last few seasons, it has become nothing but a left wing nuthouse. Its a shame what they did to such a fine program.

Yet another example of the degenerate ethos of Hollywood, and of it's respect for it's audiences. Folks, there are books to be read, walks to be taken, chores to be done and an infinity of alternatives to wasting the precious time we're given by sitting and watching a bunch of vapid, ignorant, neurotics pretending to be real people.

Wolfbane you dont even know what you are talking about. I never watched ER and I dont watch any TV anyways. Pick up a book sometime.
'Staff' or 'Cast' whatever you TV freaks call it.
This is the Internet, a place where people like you come to spread conspiracy theories about Jews evacuating the World Trade Center before the 9/11 attacks.
