Moonbats Want to Impeach Bush, Then Investigate
The moonbat quest for impeachment has become a race against the clock: Bush's term in office will be up in a year and half and lefties still haven't come up with anything even vaguely resembling a high crime or misdemeanor. Fortunately for the nutroots, Carla Binion at AfterDowningStreet.org has found a shortcut that gives them hope:
The administration's war crimes and crimes against humanity — their ongoing illegal war of aggression and torture policy — can only be stopped with impeachment and the investigation that would follow. […] Impeachment has to precede genuine investigation.
This clever approach would allow for our elected President's removal by force without his leftist enemies having to produce facts to back up their extravagant rhetoric.
If progressives are able to take control of the government, they might apply the same strategy to all legal proceedings: first the punishment, then the trial. This would make a useful interim step toward doing away with trials altogether. The money saved on court costs could be put toward bullets. In countries run by leftists, executioners go through a lot of them.

It is clear that the nutroots nursery reading did not include "Alice in Wonderland". If it did, they would recognize the 'verdict first, trial later' as being from the Queen of Heart's court.
