Moonbats Already Attempting to Imus Rush
Will authoritarian liberals work their way up gradually? Or will the next guy to get the Imus treatment be Rush Limbaugh himself?
If you listen to Rush's highly recommended show, you've probably heard the Paul Shanklin parody song "Barack the Magic Negro," inspired by the aggressively black David Ehrenstein's editorial "Obama the 'Magic Negro'" (definition of a Magic Negro here).
In light of the Imus lynching, it was inevitable that the liberal media would scour Rush's program for evidence of "racism" that could be used to shut him up. CBS13 in Sacramento thought they had it with the Magic Negro song. They posted a poll asking the public to denounce El Rushbo as a witch, I mean racist.
Rush responded with a counter-poll, asking if CBS13's morning show hosts are "morons who are threatening racial harmony" — 97% answered in the affirmative.
Tempting as it to laugh off this idiocy, it won't be the last probe attack before liberals use "racism" as a pretext to open up a full-scale war on conservatives' right to express their views publicly.

On the cover of Time:
"Talk radio is only the beginning. Electronic populism theatens to short-circuit representative democracy."
That is quite possibly the most corrupt statement I've ever seen in print. It's meaning and intent leaves me floored. The Left is the Left, no matter what country, no matter what decade.

You know you're on the right side when a liberal rag like TIME calls the exercise of free political speech, "threatening".

Ever notice how Liberals claim that OTHERS are afraid of "a debate" and are "being argumenative" when they are overwhelmed with facts?
Just thought I'd mention that.

If we want a real representative democracy, we unwashed plebs should have our betters choose the representatives for us. Right, Time?

Good God. If that mag's cover wording doesn't set off
alarms in the heads of most Americans then I don't know what will.
Of course, I'd love to see what it would take to get people to finally put these wastes of protoplasm in their place; however, it's clear from the extreme arrogance of these communists' tone that they have nothing to fear.

While Rush can fight back with the best of 'em, he's still likely to be silenced, via the "Fairness Doctrine" (which the Defeatocrats just can't wait to reinstate -- they're peeing in their pants to get this absurdity back in force!). Unless the conservatives in Congress (and I know there aren't many of them left) grow a pair and start slamming these morons, hard, the days of talk radio (other than NPR and Air-Head America, soon to return to your radio, 24/7, on all channels except PBS) are numbered.
As VH noted in the story on the Moonbats in France, this unholy alliance of radical Muslims (redundancy) and ultra-leftists, natural enemies to be sure, is rapidly destroying Europe, and this country as well. "Strange bedfellows," indeed. The leftists have to be prepared, though, for the chopping block once we've all been Islamicized, so enjoy it while you can, libs!

I believe that the Slime Magazine cover that V.H. posted is about 10 years old, isn't it?

Toa, you're right, the cover is from Jan 23, 1995. But it seemed to go with the story.

And that it did! The Left had some mighty high-handed notions even back then, and they sure haven't gotten any better; unless God grants us a change in this country, I would expect the "Liberals" to follow the example of folks like Mao Tse-Tung in the near future- mobilizing the huge thug/terrorist/corrupt cop element in the U.S. and using them to arrest, subdue and otherwise persecute non-Left America.
Fellowes, you inquired about the 10 Communist guidelines for revolutionizing a country a while back. Sorry I'm late:
1)Corrupt the young: get them away from religion, get them interested in sex. Make them superficial and destroy their ruggedness.
2)Get control of all means of publicity, thereby:
a)Get the people's minds off of their
government by diverting their attention on
athletics, sexy books and plays, and other
trivialities;
b)Divide the people into hostile factions by
constantly harping on controversial matters
of no importance;
c)Destroy the people's faith in their leaders
by holding the latter up to contempt and
ridicule.
3)Always preach true democracy, at the ame time seizing power as fast and as ruthlessly as you need to.
4)Encourage government extravagance to destroy its credit.
5)Foment unnecessary strikes in vital industries, civil disorders, etc..
6)Cause the breakdown of the old moral virtues of honesty, sobriety, self-restraint and faith to the pledged word.
7)Cause the registration of all firearms under some pretext, with the view to confiscating them so that the people will have no way to protect themselves.
This list has been snickered at as a fraud by "Progressives"; all the while, we who do not wear Red-colored glasses have been witnessing all of these "rules" carried out with increasing vigor for decades.
