Laurie David Wants the Goracle to Adopt Her
Providing still more evidence that global warming Kool-Aid–guzzlers are perpetual children who want the authorities to be their parents, Hollyweird moonbat Laurie David (wife of Seinfeld producer Larry David) gushes that she wishes Al Gore, authoritarian high priest of the Gaia cult, would adopt her.
David has made her contribution to global warming hysteria by producing the Goracle's hyperbolic propaganda epic A Convenient Lie. She also tagged along with bubble-brained pop star Cheryl Crow on her recent global warming propaganda tour, during which Crow announced that we should help save the polar bears by using only one square of toilet paper. As for what David has been doing about the actual global warming that she alleges will plunge the world into crisis within the next couple of years:
I have changed as many lightbulbs as I could to (higher efficiency) bulbs. I started a new idling rule at the school carpool lane (cars dropping and picking up kids can't idle their engines more than 30 seconds). I bring a garment bag to the dry cleaners (instead of having the dry cleaners wrap her clothes in petroleum-based plastic). I drive a hybrid.
It might be noted here that David lives in a mansion the size of shopping mall. The odds of the activities listed above ever countering the energy she expends every ten minutes on heating or cooling it are as remote as the chances of finding her flying coach on her frequent cross-continental jaunts (she dislikes flying commercial with the unwashed masses, preferring to travel by private jet).

Wikipedia's article on Laurie David includes a "criticism" section on her inability to follow her own environmental recommendations. It says:
"In an interview with The Guardian in November of 2006, Ms. David acknowledged that owning two homes on opposite sides of the country and flying in a private jet several times per year is at odds with her message to others."
It also links to that Guardian article, which is worth reading, as it exposes her for being the nutcase that she is.

Uh, Larry, you might want to keep an eye on your missus. It sounds like she's got it bad for the Goracle, and she's already talking about dry cleaners (probably getting referrals from Monica). Just sayin'.
And let's face it, if she's running true to form, we can pretty much rule out common sense from Laurie David.

The depths of the nitwittery of Hollywood airheads continues to astonish me. Every week, just when I think I've read the stupidest thing ever, one of them manages to plunge the depths of the stupid-pool a little bit deeper.
