John Edwards Calls For Anti-War Rallies on Memorial Day

Nothing truly sacred is sacred to moonbats — not even Memorial Day, which the expensively coiffed ambulance chaser John Edwards is calling on his nutroots followers to desecrate with noisy demands for surrender in Iraq.
Edwards voted in favor of invading Iraq, but now that troops are over there fighting terrorists, he finds it politically expedient that we should lose. Apparently he plans to advance this objective by demoralizing our soldiers with a reminder that some of the Americans they go to such lengths to defend aren't worth the effort.
This Memorial Day weekend, that means more than just getting in your car, driving to the beach, or a parade, or a picnic and saying the words, "We support our troops." We must take responsibility and take action together — as citizens, as Americans, as patriots. To support the troops. To end the war.
Not even the Breck Girl could be moronic enough to believe that the war will actually end if we turn tail and run away. First there will be a bloodbath in Iraq, as those who trusted us enough to come out in favor of democracy are liquidated by terrorists. Then will come the bloodbath in America streets, as the oil-rich terror state that will emerge inevitably follows us home.
Some of us will deserve the horrors that will ensue, but what our troops deserve is respect, so it is intolerable to see Memorial Day turned into an excuse to dishonor them by a despicable little insect like Edwards.
As OpinionJournal asks,
What'll he think of next, turning Christmas into a day of pro-abortion activism?
Don't put it past him.
