Criminals Sheltered by Castro Soon to Lose Their Host

Posted by Dave Blount at May 14, 2007 10:27 AM

Not everyone hopes that when Fidel Castro finally croaks, his rogue communist dictatorship will be replaced with a responsible government. About 70 American fugitives — including cop-killers and terrorists — are hiding out in Cuba, sheltered by Castro's regime out of spite.

One guest of the Cuban state is Charlie Hill, who along with other members of the "Republic of New Afrika" was stopped by state trooper Robert Rosenbloom while transporting arms and explosives. The gang of terrorists shot Rosenbloom in the throat, then hijacked a jet to the island prison where criminals get to hold the keys.

Another is Joanne Chesimard, aka Assata Shakur, who robbed banks on behalf of the Black Liberation Army, and who earned a $1 million bounty on her head by murdering New Jersey state trooper Werner Foerster during a routine traffic stop.

Shakur's crimes earned her not only Castro's hospitality, but the adoration of academia. Taxpayer-supported City College of New York honored her with the Guillermo Morales/Assata Shakur Community Center. Guillermo Morales is a FALN bomb-maker with American blood on his fingerless hands (as inept as he is evil, Morales managed to blow most of his fingers off). He too is hiding out in Cuba.

Castro has also harbored and aided terrorists from Spain and Colombia.

Of course these vicious enemies of society won't be the only ones disappointed if democracy breaks out when Castro at long last packs his bags for hell. Democrat politicians such as Charlie Rangel and any number of Hollyweird chowderheads will be crestfallen.
