Some Are Learning From Virginia Tech Massacre

At least some people are sadder but also wiser in the wake of the Virginia Tech massacre. In Tennessee, a House panel voted to repeal a state law forbidding handguns on government-owned property.

As Republican State Rep. Frank Niceley explains:

I think the recent Virginia disaster — or catastrophe or nightmare or whatever you want to call it — has woken up a lot of people to the need for having guns available to law-abiding citizens.

Next time a misanthropic maniac goes on a rampage, it will probably be somewhere other than Tennessee. It's just not as fun when the victims aren't victims because they shoot back.

Bet gun shops around the country are doing an especially brisk business in the wake of this slaughter. And all that anti-gun rhetoric is having the opposite effect. Would expect the leftists to become more vehement in their frenzied efforts to get the guns out of our hands.

Meanwhile, Life in Chavez's socialist workers paradise just gets better and better.

And a lot of moonbats still deny that this cat's a dictator.

I'm amazed Nicely had the courage to say that. Wow.

Also, here's some stories about the tragic honor killings in Germany. I'm not sure if the gun(a 7.65 mm pistol)in this specific case was legally owned, but I do know that Germany has very strict gun control laws. To own a gun, one must explicitly explain one's "need" and purpose to the government.

And, some are not. Most frighteningly, in the elite schools that produce our elite leadership: Yale bans pretend weapons from stage productions.
