Moonbat Bureaucrats Target Leaf Blowers
The global warming hoax has produced a few winners — such as Al Gore, who has exploited it to generate fame and fortune — and a lot of losers, including landscapers in New York's Westchester County, where moonbat bureaucrats are considering a measure to force people to use low-emission leaf blowers.
Landscapers would have to certify that their leaf blowers comply with new standards to get their licenses. This will tilt the playing field in favor of unlicensed landscapers. Buying new leaf blowers to appease the bureauweenies will cost $500 apiece.

i love my 150 mph leaf blower - it's great for blowing kittens, puppies, AND chickens off the deck! yeeeeeeeeeeeeeeehaw! you don't really need leaves to have a great time with one of these...also a very good way to get a ragin' fire going...you didn't hear that from me - we burn all our leaves!

Those leaf blowers sure do look like a lot of fun, but when I lived
out in Phoenix the ground crews using them damn near caused me
to have an asthmatic attack, and I don't even have asthma. All they do is kick up dust, they're loud and they smell bad.

Personally, I don't have a problem with this. In fact I'd outright BAN the damned, noisy things! Let them use the original low-emissions tool ... the RAKE!
Maybe our neighborhoods would once again be reasonably quiet, our sleep undisturbed, and save some gas in the process - at least until the democrats approve drilling in ANWAR.
