Mars Warming Several Times Faster Than Earth
It's a lousy break that we're all doomed to perish in a global warming apocalypse because people won't follow Al Gore's wild-eyed sermons to their natural conclusion and create a world government empowered to legislate an end to human activity. But look at the bright side: at least we don't live on Mars, where the global warming that has been observed throughout the solar system is proceeding much faster than on Earth.
The reason the ice on the Martian south pole keeps retreating is that surface air temperatures have increased by 1.17°F from the 1970s through 1990s. On Earth, average temperature has increased by a paltry 1.33°F over the last century.
Scientists are blaming global dust storms, which OpinionJournal surmises are kicked up by little green men driving their SUVs off-road.

Let's see, it's the second week of April, and here in the National Capitol Region, we've got freeze warnings and snow forecast for the weekend.
Back in Michigan, my extended family is digging out from under a foot of snow.
So, when is ManBearPig supposed to get here, anyway?

Hey, those Martians invaded the sovereign planet of Earth in that movie War of the Worlds, so they are just like President Bush.
They should have a critical mass riot on Mars too.

The local Borders bookstore has ordered Gore's "An Inconveniant Truth" for their CHILDRENS' SECTION! I was tempted to threaten to SUE them for CHILD ABUSE.
