Japanese Mayor Shot Despite Rigid Gun Laws

Maybe liberal politicians have no qualms about forcibly disarming us because it's only the little people who will get killed by maniacs like Cho Seung-Hui. Politicians — and pro–gun control entertainment industry moonbats like Rosie O'Donnell — have armed bodyguards to keep them safe. However, this didn't help Iccho Ito, Mayor of Nagasaki, who was shot to death yesterday by organized crime chief Tetsuya Shiroo.

Handguns are strictly banned in Japan. Unsurprisingly, criminals don't seem to honor the ban. This is the second time a Mayor of Nagasaki has been shot.

So when is Rosie O'Donell going to grace us with a 'ching-chong,ching-chong,ching-chong, We Need Gun Control, ching-chong,ching-chong,ching-chong, 33 Dead at Virginia Tech' speech?

Yeah - I bet the gun was bought in Virginia and smuggled into Japan. It's Heston's fault.

This whole thing is just out of control. I mean within 2 hours of the shootings, the MSM was on the "banm the gun" trip. Insane.

Like I heard one of the talk show guys say:

"The biggest mass murders in American history were acomplished with box-cutters, gas, and fertilizer."

Ahhhh, let me drink in the irony....

You're right, Jenn. The gun control debate is definitely raging now. This Reuters video clip is a perfect example:

Tennessee responds to VT shootings with anti-moonbattery. What would be the opposite of a moonbat, a sunbird? Because, the Tennessee legislature is it.

In a surprise move, a House panel voted today to repeal a state law that forbids the carrying of handguns on property and buildings owned by state, county and city governments — including parks and playgrounds.

"I think the recent Virginia disaster — or catastrophe or nightmare or whatever you want to call it — has woken up a lot of people to the need for having guns available to law-abiding citizens," said Rep. Frank Niceley, R-Strawberry Plains. "I hope that is what this vote reflects."
