Imposing Gay "Marriage" on Christians

In Saskatoon, Saskatchewan, far from the militant moonbats so prevalent in Ontario, civil marriage commissioner Orville Nichols refused to perform a homosexual "marriage" on the grounds that it violated his Christian faith. Naturally there is going to be a price to be paid for putting principle above political correctness.

Although Nichols referred the gays to another commissioner who performed the service the day originally requested, Human Rights Commission lawyer Janice Gingell wants Nichols to be forced to pay the lovebirds $5,000, apparently just to show who's boss.

In addition, he will probably be hit with court costs. Deranged by moonbattery, the system stacks the deck in favor of complainants, who are not asked to pay any expenses even in the unlikely event that they lose, whereas the defendant is often forced to pay the costs for both sides.

Remember, hate crimes laws won't affect religious freedom.
