Hollyweird's Man in Minnesota
Obnoxious left-wing comedian, failed talk show host, and author of the book Rush Limbaugh Is a Big Fat Idiot Al Franken's worst joke yet — a run for the Senate in Minnesota — will have a particularly awful punch line if he actually manages to get elected, thanks to mounds of money being shoveled his way by the zillionaire moonbats infesting faraway Hollywood.
Hollyweird lefties willing to shell out for their dream of placing a bellicose professional clown in the Senate include Tom Hanks, Paul Newman, Jason Alexander, Larry David, Kevin Bacon, Kevin Kline, James Brooks, Norman Lear, Rob Reiner, Jonathan Demme, Lorne Michaels, David Geffen, Jane Curtain, and Bill Maher. Other donors from the entertainment world include Don Henley and Bonnie Raitt. Geraldine Ferraro and cartoonist Garry Trudeau also kicked in.
Next time you're tempted to blow $10 on a movie ticket, remember that unfortunately not all of the money goes to air condition actors' vast mansions.

Minnesota did elect clueless far-left Democrat hack Amy Klubuchar over the eminently more qualified Mark Kennedy in 2006, so it is certainly possible they will give Stuart Smalley some love.
