Halloween in April at Walter Reed
Thanks to the conspicuous absence of the global warming liberals keep promising, Easter weekend in the capital felt like Christmas. But outside Walter Reed Hospital, it looked more like Halloween, as moonbats from Code Pink, Veterans for Peace, and other progressive sects continue to demonstrate in hopes of demoralizing our troops. Here's a sight that greeted families coming to visit wounded relatives:

That's a Hula-Hoop around the moonbat's waist. Presumably the bunny ears are in honor of Easter. How would you like to think you lost you legs fighting to defend this piece of work?
Says Raoul Deming, whose son is an active U.S. Navy officer:
This display is typical, rather than any kind of extraordinary effort on the part of the anti-war left. Though the mainstream media wishes to portray the anti-war left as rational and representative of America, they are not. It made me sad that our wounded are being taunted by today's anti-war left the same way our troops were mistreated during Vietnam.
Sadder still is that as in Vietnam, the protesters' snappily dressed brethren in the news industry and Democrat Party are seeing to it that the troops' sacrifices will be in vain.

The lying response from Code Pink's Gael Murphy to CNSNews was to state that the person was not with their weekly protest when Code Pink will routinely run off wounded who wander down to talk to them with threats that they will sic the police on them becuase they have a permit.
The only people who get thrown out of Code Pink's permited area are wounded soldiers. This guy was permitted to stay. Gael, you bought it, you now own it.

The only odd thing about this Leftist moonbat is that he hasn't covered up his face otherwise he is dressed the part.
