Europeans Target Environmental Crimes

In another disturbing glimpse at where environmentalism is headed, Italy has adopted a draft bill anticipating a forthcoming European Union directive on environmental crimes. Those found guilty of sins against Gaia will be subject to 1–5 years in jail and fines of 20,000–60,000 euros — and still more if the crime actually endangers someone.

Punishments get even worse for committing "environmental catastrophes," which presumably go well beyond forgetting to throw your soda can in the recycling bin.

The European Commission is planning to enable the EU to issue arrest warrants for environmental crimes. If Brussels bureauweenies decide they agree with Cheryl Crow about toilet paper usage, Brits who overwipe could hear midnight banging on their door.

Go easy: someone might be counting.

Rosies rotting corpse will be around for another 6 weeks - they better put one of those red balls in her mouth while she just nods, yes or no.
