Econazis Target Tikes

Apparently any adult gullible enough to swallow the Great Global Warming Swindle has already swallowed it, so hoaxers are now targeting small children.

The global warming cult's Bible — An Inconvenient Truth, as revealed by the Goracle — will be coming out this week in a special soft-cover edition for readers age 10 and up. In addition to Gore's usual charts and graphs, the book features pictures of garbage dumps, strip mines, native peoples menaced by rising tides, and even a mushroom cloud. One chapter denounces the "skeptics" who refuse to accept the wise Goracle's prophesies. A Bush Administration appointee is attacked by name in large red print.

For readers too young even for Al Gore, Why Are the Ice Caps Melting? goes after kids in grades 1–3. On the cover, cute penguins are threatened by cracking ice. Inside, the kiddies learn that it is all the fault of civilization.

There are more:

Arctic Thaw: The People of the Whale in a Changing Climate teaches children age 9 and up that the Inupiaq Eskimos are in deep trouble because we're making the ice melt. Isobelle Carmody writes "Little Fur" books, "eco-fantasies" about how rotten humans are for ruining the world. The Day the Stones Walked tells the kiddies we're as doomed as the natives of Easter Island due to the nonexistent problem of deforestation. Scholastic's autumn lineup will lead off with a children's version of The Down-to-Earth Guide to Global Warming, coauthored by barking moonbat Laurie David, who produced the movie version of Gore's A Convenient Lie.

If all goes as planned, these seeds of neurosis and self-hatred will one day be harvested as votes for Democrats. If only moonbats would stick to teaching children how to put condoms on cucumbers, less damage would be done to their developing minds.

To get people to believe this stuff, you've got to start young.
