Duke's White Lynching Party Finally Over
Finally the last of the trumped-up charges against the three Duke lacrosse players falsely accused of raping stripper Crystal Gail Mangum have been dropped. As became clear long ago, the Caucasian players were deliberately railroaded by prosecutor Mike Nifong so as to help him sew up the black vote prior to an election.
The damage that has been done to the players, their families, and everyone involved in lacrosse at Duke is hard to quantitate, but it's less that what it would have been if Nifong had succeeded in sacrificing their young lives to his political ambitions.
There were no non-political reasons to believe the accuser's story, which was easily disproved, changed several times, and was unsupported by any evidence or witness corroboration. North Carolina Attorney General Roy Cooper has officially announced that the players are innocent.
No charges will be brought against Mangum. At least Nifong will stand trial for withholding evidence from defense attorneys and lying to the court and bar investigators.
Meanwhile, we're expected to be outraged because some jerk used the expression "nappy-headed ho's." That's what moonbattery can do to a society's sense of perspective.

I always wondered what they meant when they sung about "nappy-headed ho's."
Where is Imus when you need him?

A friend of mine wondered what Jessie Jackson will do now that this "racism" case has fallen apart.
Posted by: KHarn at April 11, 2007 6:58 PM
KHarn: No doubt he'll soon find another. Seems that's the pre-occupation of just about every liberal (and Muslim) in the world these days -- take offense at the slightest, even totally inoffensive, remark, glance, word, gesture, etc., ad nauseum.
If only the "flying Imams" were black, Jesse and Al would be the first ones to scream racism when passengers complained of these lovely individuals acting exactly like their compatriots did on 9/11/01 (precisely their intention, of course!).
Like Tom and Nancy, Jesse and Al: Useful Idiots to the cause of those who want to tear this country down.

Just how in the f**k can this slut not be open for charges of making a false statement? I hope they ruin the remnants of her pathetic life in civil court for unspeakable damages.

didn't a bunch of leftist elitists promise to get these nappy headed...er...uh...wonderful girls a college education in light of this tragedy?
now, let's see where the rubbuh meets the road!
life is so good when you're discerning. thank you, G-d.

If this lying, contemptible hooker is not charged with something, then it will be an injustice nearly equal to the original injustice perpetrated upon the students.
Although it's gratifying to see Nifong getting his comeuppance, it was the sociopathic Crystal who started it all.

Why didn't you finish with the correct terminology? As defined at dictionary.com, she actually is a ho. She was a hooker right? No shame in calling something what it is. Whether her hair is nappy or not is another question.

Crystal Gail Mangum = Tawana Brawley
Silence from moonbats like Al Sharpton is to be expected.
Posted by: General Jack D. Ripper at April 12, 2007 5:12 AM
I appreciated Ann Coulter's take on this in her column, today:
If Imus had called me a "towheaded ho" or Al Sharpton a "nappy-headed ho," it would be what's known as "funny." (And if he called Anna Nicole Smith a "flaxen-headed ho," it would be "absolutely accurate.") But he attacked the looks and morals of utterly innocent women, who had done nothing to inject themselves into public debate.
Imus should apologize to the Rutgers women -- and those women alone -- send them flowers, and stop kissing Al Sharpton's ring.
This wasn't an insult to all mankind, and certainly not an insult to Al Sharpton.
Did any of you see Tony Blair's recent comments about 'black culture'?
I bet it really ruffles Sharpton's 'nappy do' not to be able to get Blair fired.

I remember a few months ago when one of my bosses and I were making a grill delivery, we were listening to a radio talk show host discussing the case (This was around the time when it was established that it wasn't their DNA). All of a sudden, this one guy calls in and says that he thinks the Duke players should be convicted and sentenced even if they're innocent, as "Poetic justice" for all the innocent black men in the old days who were wrongfully accused and lynched for allegedly raping white women. I could not believe my ears that this guy actually said that!
This is why we need to keep liberals from gaining too much control over our justice system, so that such a perversion of justice as that man described will never happen.

Adam, I knew a guy who said, after the OJ Simpson verdict, that watching OJ get off for a murder of which he was obviously guilty was good because now he knew "how it felt to be black," and watch white people get away with murder all the time.
1. When a moonbat doesn't like his job, he doesn't find a better one, he sues him employer.
2. Having a moonbat public image is no protection against being sued by moonbats.
3. Starbucks employment practices are worse than Wal-Mart's.

Frustratingly, I know of many white liberals who also feel innocent white people should suffer in certain ways because black people in the past suffered at the hands of other, long dead white people. They are for reparations, affirmative action, varying tax scales based on race, and any other race-based punishment of whites.
Reminds me of the "sins of the father" mentality, we should suffer because of what our forefathers did.
It always amazes me that these folks would want to punish white people because of what other white people did to other black people, but if you were to apply the same principle to the protected peoples of the earth, you're a racist.
Can't single out muslims at the aiport, that's racist. Can't say black people commit more crimes, that's racist. But by gosh, we're gonna take a white person's spot on a college list and give it to a black person for the sole reason that one is white and the other black, and that's justified somehow.

Oh my God the Tawana Brawley story was terrible.
No wonder Bill Crosby became disillusioned with victimhood.

Man, you'd figure that rich white kids could afford a better looking stripper.
