Death Toll Caused by Illegal Aliens Keeps Rising
Yet another law-abiding American has paid with his life for the unconscionable unwillingness of authorities to protect us from the Mexican invasion.
Dacus Lamont Sims died at age 32, after trying to cross a Charlotte street with Luciano Melendres on the loose. Melendres is an illegal alien from Mexico who was arrested last year for drunk driving; instead of being sent home or put in jail, he received 12 months probation. Now, having run over Sims, he's charged with DWI, hit-and-run, driving with a revoked license, driving without insurance, and a registration violation. Apparently murder is not among the charges, so it's likely he'll be behind the wheel again soon.
Melendres joins a long list of illegal aliens who have taken lives while driving drunk on our roads, which includes Alfredo Ramos, Carlos Prieto, Eduardo Raul Morales-Soriano, Guillermo Paniagua, Gustavo Reyes Garcia, Hector Velazquez-Nava, Isidro Pena Soto, Joel Perea, Jorge Humberto Hernandez-Soto, Jose Trejo Encino, Luis Oscar Garcia, Marcos Ramos Medina, Miguel Garduno Gonzalez, Pastor Rios Sanchez, Ramiro Gallegos, and Vitalina Bautista Vargas, who managed to kill a 91-year-old woman asleep in her bed by driving right through her house.
Most of them had been arrested repeatedly before they killed. Some had even been deported repeatedly — as if there were any point, with the border wide open. Hernandez-Soto, who killed a college student by driving the wrong way on an interstate at over 100 mph, had been deported 17 times.
These drunken maniacs' victims have included police officers, Marines, women, and small children, whose blood stains the hands of the irresponsible moonbats from Bush on down who refuse to defend our sovereign territory from invasion.
On a tip from Wiggins.

It is absolutely unforgivable for the Bush administration to claim the mantle of conservatism, and shirk their constitutional responsibility to protect and defend this nation.
I've never been a single-issue voter, but the candidate who comes closest to promising to close the border will most likely get my vote.

They'll get your vote and promptly break their promise, I suspect. The congress is too invested in the Mexican constituency to abandon them now. With groups like La Raza lobbying for amnesty, and a huge population of already-legal Mexicans living here, any "close the border" hope is lost.
