Christ Killa

The latest example of cowardly children in the arts community pretending to be bold by attacking Christianity is an "artwork" consisting of a video game where you shoot Jesus. From the press release:

Described as the ultimate arbitration between politics and Christianity, “Christ Killa” is a video game linked to video projectors and television monitors. A first person shooter in which the player shoots hordes of homicidal Jesus Christs, the game landscape is filled with Googled images of Christian propaganda posters, religious shrines such as St. Peter’s in Rome, and clichéd representations of Christ who constantly mumbles messages of tolerance and compassion.

Michelle Malkin comments on the bold edginess exhibited by the "artist," Eric Medine:

You want edgy? Go ahead and create "Mohammed Killa." Replace the Homicidal Jesus Christs with Homicidal Mohammeds mumbling clichéd messages of peace from the Koran. Fill the "game landscape" with Googled images of Muslim propaganda and sacred mosques while the Homicidal Mohammeds blow themselves up in crowded schools, restaurants, buses, and markets.
Put that on exhibit. Go ahead. Be a maaaverick "artist." Show us how brave you are at offending all people of faith.
Double dare you, Mr. Medine.

Given the level of courage that typifies moonbats, it's unlikely that Medine or anyone else in the arts community will be responding to the challenge.

Michelle doesn't get it. There's no point being "edgy" if you're not alive to enjoy the leftist kudos.

So, so much for Mohammed Killa.

There are now three inevitable features of our existence: death, taxes, and moonbat “artists” with 64-count boxes of Crayolas popping up every now and again to show us how edgy they can be with their attacks on religion in general and Christianity in particular. They remind me of six-year-olds who look to their parents for rave reviews of their scribblings and beam with pride as the latest atrocity is posted up on the refrigerator.
Things like this have become so tiresome they aren’t even worthy of denunciation anymore.

Heh heh...right on the head, John...

Just one more example of the pathetic Moonbat habit of "standing up" (according to them, at least) to people with whom they disagree, whom they know in their hearts are not truly threatening, and attempting to posture themselves as dragonslayers for doing so.

"cowardly children" with crayons worhshipped by liberals.

Exactly.

Come on, Mr. Medine! Be brave, take a stand! Let's see that "Mohammad Killa" game, bud -- hell, I'd buy that one. Of course, like Theo Van Gogh, you wouldn't be around very much longer to enjoy your profits (I understand Theo was a pretty obnoxious SOB, probably a lot like you, Mr. Medine, but I don't wish "Death by Muslim" on anybody, not even you. Whether or not I wish it upon you will ultimately have no relevance either way; you'll simply be another target of the Religion of Perpetual Outrage).

Let's see those big cojones, Mr. Medine. Be edgy, be courageous, be "out front," Mr. Avant-Garde. [Not bloody likely].

Actually - Mr Medine already produced something along these lines after the somewhat-recent 'pictures of Mohammed' controversy - a giant Tome filled with every picture of Mohammed that he could find. And we didn't get any death threats from fundamentalists like the gallery owners showing his current exhibit.
