Nutroots Moonbats Regret That Cheney Not Killed

As you've probably heard, a Taliban terrorist managed to kill at least 14 in an unsuccessful attempt to assassinate Vice President Cheney. Here are a few reactions from the enlightened progressives at Huffington Post:

Better luck next time!
Dr Evil escapes again...damn.
Another 14 people dead, and their blood is literally on Dick's hands.
F#$% Cheney. It's called poetic justice. This no good MF is complicit in sending thousands to their deaths via bomb blasts and you expect sympathy for the cretin. Karma's coming to get that rat basturd.
So Cheney is personally responsible for the deaths of 14 innocent people...and then he waddles off to lunch!! What a piece of shit!
Jesus Christ and General Jackson too, can't the Taliban do anything right? They must know we would be so gratefull to them for such a remarkable achievement.
Maybe Bush ordered the attack. After all, he has a telephone relationship with the Taliban. It could actually be revenge because, as some believe, it appears Cheney tried to have Bush asassinated on the morning of 9/11.
Let's see...they're killing him over there so we don't have to kill him over here?
You can never find a competent suicide bomber when you need one.
I wonder if Cheney was in Afghanistan at all.
If only Cheny and Chimpy traveled together. They could kill two turds with one stone. And then---President Pelosi!
Our country and the world are at great risk with every living, breathing monment Cheney walks this earth.
I don't wish Cheney's death, I want him sent to the Hague as a war criminal, along with Bush, Rumsfeld, and Gonzales. Death is too easy, I want him humiliated all across the GLOBE, and imprisoned for life...hopefully in a Singapore prison with daily whippings.
The Germans (von Stauffenberg and others)who tried to assassinate Hitler were heroes. They knew there was no other way of stopping him and the horrors for which he was responsible. Get it, moralists?

On HuffPo commenter posted a link to this picture of Benito Mussolini, hanging upside down, bloody and dead with his face bashed in, and implied our Vice President should receive the same treatment.

When you consider that the nutroots crowd at HuffPo represents the most energized sector of the Democrat Party's base, the treasonous policies of Pelousy et al. make perfect sense.

Vice President Cheney, thankfully safe.

I'm not at all surprised by the reaction from the Fifth Column as indicated above. After all, it's their ilk - anti-American pot smokin' hippie leftists.

I couldn't possibly imagine anything else from them.

Each side has its nuts. There is a comment on this site calling for the execution of 90% of all black people.

Grr, I hate it when they think they know what Singapore is like...
They only do that to people who would violate Singapore law, and it's called canings, not whippings...
Maybe those bloggers should take a month field trip as a prisoner in Singapore ;-)

Mahons, while the comment you refer to was far from constructive, saying that some people "aren't worth the powder it would take to shoot them" is not a call to execute anyone.

What's that about Cheney trying to assassinate Bush? First I've heard of it... doesn't fit the "profile" they've assigned to Cheney, anyway. I always thought they saw him as a grand vizier type content to sit behind the thrown and pull the strings. I guess consistency of thought was never a requirement for joining their world.

Truer words never spoken, Archonix.

Notice how mahons tries to use "Moral Equivalency" to justify the verbal attacks on Cheney.

He states that someone on this site made a comment about exterminating blacks. Ergo, it's okay for them to talk about killing Cheney.

The libs have a two-fold approach to situations like this:

1) change the subject as quickly as possible because they can't possibly defend their own actions

2) try and bring others down to their level so they don't feel so bad about being scum.

The second is very important in our society, it's what drives the liberals to dislike conservatives so much. Liberals WANT to do immoral things (like killing babies as they're being born), they just don't want it to be considered immoral.

The best way they to do that is to say nothing is immoral. And also, if you tell them something is immmoral, they try to find some dirt on you and bring you down to their level, thereby proving that you're no better than they are, so they can continue being scum without guilt.

I think the idea should be that we all try to be as good as we can, despite how good or bad someone else is, and not use someone else's immorality as a yardstick for how much immorality you can safely get away with.

In other words, someone on this site saying they want to kill blacks does NOT make it okay for someone else to say they want Cheney killed.

Mostly it is irrational hate that drives the Left, just like it does to Islamist radicals.

They are victims of their own propaganda...

Umm, shouldn't we notify the FBI of the fact there are posters at HuffPo making threats against the life of the Vice-President?

Posted by: Brooklyn Red Leg at February 27, 2007 4:21 PM

From the Huffington Post article:
"Cheney is personally responsible for the deaths of 14 innocent people"

Actually, only 13 of them were probably innocent. The bomber himself had to be one of the fatalities.

Oh, they already know. Remember the Patriot Act and all that jazz.

Before 9/11 I didnt like any Republicans, that changed for obvious reasons. However, it took me the longest to warm up to Cheney.

It was his handling of the media storm over his lesbian daughter that won me over.

Even though her sexual preference obviously broke his heart, he remained loyal to her and protective of her privacy.

Leftists are missing something very important about his character, as they seem to do about everything else...

Going back to that quote from the Huffington Post article:

"Cheney is personally responsible for the deaths of 14 innocent people"

Isnt it amazing how Leftists sweepingly cast aside the guilt of the Taliban?

There is so much that is terribly wrong with this type of thinking...

I do not justify any of the stupid attacks on Cheney, just pointing out that stupid comments on a blog are not just made by the extreme left.

Posted by: Mahons at February 28, 2007 8:26 AM

get a job sparkling wiggles!

Posted by: furballz at February 28, 2007 9:02 AM

I saw the remark that you pointed out Mahons and it nowhere represents even .01% of the commentators at Moonbattery. However, the hatefulness at Huffington is very prevalent. I remember other posts where they debated treating Republicans with respect, as if that was controversal.

The comment that you point out is so outlandish that I suspect it was placed there by a troll.

There are stupid people everywhere, but the Left is defined by negatives. Go to any protest and you will see nothing but a hatefest.

Something that is shared with our Islamist enemies as well...

Posted by: Freedom Now at February 28, 2007 10:05 AM

Freedom Now: Good. I should hope not and you might even be right about the Troll. We'll have to agree to disagree as to the left being defined by negatives and any protest being a hatefest.
In any event we would probably agree that people can complain about Cheney without resorting to the foolishness on those posts.

Posted by: Anonymous at March 1, 2007 12:14 PM

I imagine thats you Mahons (the comment is marked as Anon).

Then we agree on this point and will defer the part about the disputed hatefulness of "anti-war" protesters for further discussion.

See you in cyberspace...

The terrorist just had to murder those people. Cheney's mind control powers forced him to. Murdering innocent people is the only logical answer to American foreign policy.

Cut your own heads off and save the islamopithecines the bother.
