Gays Push Washington State Proposal to Ban Childless Marriage
In a propaganda stunt intended to erode the institution of marriage, homosexual activists are collecting signatures in the state of Washington for a ballot initiative that would annul the marriages of couples unable to have children.
Militant gays apparently believe this will pull the rug out from under the state's Defense of Marriage Act by proving that just because homosexuals can't procreate doesn't mean their "marriages" aren't natural.
It isn't the only insincere proposal Gregory Gadow of the incongruously named Defense of Marriage Alliance has up his sleeve. He has another in the works that would prohibit separation by married people who have children together, and one that would make having a child together the equivalent of marriage.
Fortunately for Gadow, the proposals don't need to pass to accomplish his objective of undermining the public's opinion of marriage.

If the world is lucky, Washington has a state run similar to MA. The vote on Homosexual Marriage was just ignored by the legislators, even though the citizens did everything needed to put it on the ballot.
Could the Northwest be as bad as the Northeast?

How sad. The new morality, which is no morality at all, has just about overtaken the country it appears. Americans think that by being "tolerant" and "accepting" and so forth will shut these people up, but it won't. It should be obvious now that the more we retreat, the more they push. There is no middle ground, sorry. Live and let live is a well known recipe for social disaster.

Gregory Gadow; a cancer tumor of the human race. A little chemo is in order.

What if it does pass? Since gay MALES can't give birth, their "marrages" would be anuled and it would FORCE lesbians to be impregnated.
Be carefull of what you wish, you may get it!

This reminds me of those dems who kept trying to reinstitute the draft...not because they want it, but because they want to make a point.
Once again, liberals show us how to waste the most time and taxpayer money in a useless act of political masturbation.

He knows his legislation is ridiculous; yes, it's to make a point. The obvious point that we heterosexuals have nothing to lose or to fear by Gays getting married, except perhaps higher insurance and medical coverage rates because they will then be able to claim dependents on their policies. Other than such economic issues, there is no reason to believe the so-called 'sanctity' of marriage is lessened just because gays get married. People have the right to their own happiness and who the hell is anyone to interfere with this.
