French Health Minister Proposes Sleeping on the Job
One reason France lags so far behind the USA in standard of living is that their socialist system places a high emphasis on loafing and none on getting work done. They've actually passed a law against working more than 35 hours a week.
But Health Minister Xavier Bertrand has devised a characteristically French solution to their productivity problem: more sleeping on the job:
Why not a nap at work? It's can't be a taboo subject.
According to the Health Ministry, 56% of French complain that their lousy job performance is a result of poor sleep. Maybe they're lying awake thinking about their country's future.

I posted on this too. And just think, this study will be costing them the equivalent of $9 million. Hey, gotta keep those government bureaucrats employed somehow...just as long as you don't ask them to work overtime.

Overtime? Are you kidding?
They spent the $9 million on frommage, baguette, vin, gauloise and whores for about two months straight, then they had one meeting and someone said "I'm tired" and a brilliant and smelly Frog shouted "sacre bleu! we need to write 1,000 pages on the need to get more sleep!"
The Frogs deserve so much to die at the point of a scimitar. Have fun in Hell, commie boot lickers!

And, speaking of the French – did you hear about France’s effort to help cool the earth? They are going to turn off the lights of the Eiffel Tower for 5 minutes a day. Those French – what an effort, huh? Their contribution against Global Warming ranks way, WAY up there in the historic annals of personal sacrifice. (Or is that anals of personal orifice?)
