US Government Gives $86 Million to Chairman of Palestinian Authority
Our government has found a creative way to spend $86 million worth of our money: showering it upon the terrorist Palestinian Authority.
The cash will go to Mahmoud Abbas of the Fatah faction — the one founded by arch terrorist Yasser Arafat — on the grounds that even he is moderate compared to Hamas. It's to be used
to assist the Palestinian Authority presidency in fulfilling P.A. commitments under the road map [peace plan] to dismantle the infrastructure of terrorism and establish law and order in the West Bank and Gaza.
Next they will be paying "moderate" Mafia dons to dismantle the infrastructure of organized crime and establish law and order in New Jersey.
Since it's too late for the loot to end up in Arafat's Swiss bank account, it will most likely go to purchase weapons and to finance terrorist attacks. Or it will be used to pay P.A. police, which would ease pressure on the Hamas government.
Remember this speech?
Every nation, in every region, now has a decision to make. Either you are with us, or you are with the terrorists. From this day forward, any nation that continues to harbor or support terrorism will be regarded by the United States as a hostile regime.
Too bad the guy who spoke those words isn't running our country. Oh wait, he is.

Comments
The poor, peace loving Palestinian people are deeply distressed by the murder of Saddam Hussein, compadre of the late, great Yasser Arafat. When the checkpoints are liberalized à la Madame Rice, who will pay the families of the shahid?

Condi Rice is so utterly revolting. Her outrageous, anti-Israel policies border on anti-Semitism. Bush cowers before her feet because she is black and he is anxious for America to become an ethnic/racial battle ground.

Well, our government gives BILLIONS to the terrorist state of Israel.
It's not like this foreign welfare is anything new.
I say cut off all the freeloaders.

Well, isn’t this special: the West Bank just gained a moderate Muslim.
Cleveland Islamic Leader Deported to West Bank
“[H]e disparaged Jews in Arabic as “pigs and monkeys” and raised money for the killing of Jews by the Palestinian Islamic Jihad.”

The more aid to Israel, the better.

Best money ever spent. They get their weapons at a bargin price and kill each other. Cheaper than fuel for a bomber to wipe them out.

bush (who i voted for) is of united methodist background (you don't have to read your bible to be one) and condi grew up in a presbyterian (father a minister) household - the average age of a presby is approximately 62.
i've been studying replacement theology for a number of years - u.m.'s lean toward this theology and pcusa have, in the past, called for divestment from israel and the boycott of caterpillar heavy equipment. p.c. is a dying church - united methodists are ripe for anti-semitism.
really quite simple - the love of israel is lost on these two "religions".
anymore questions? google "replacement theology" and you'll see quite clearly who stands where.

You'd think the fact that Israel is the only country in the Middle East that's a full democracy, the only country in the Middle East where human rights and the rights of religious minorities are respected, and the only reliable American ally in that region would be worth something.
Alas, the moonbats want to side with the Palestinian thugocracy that steals foreign aid from its people, straps bombs on its children, drowns homosexuals in their sewers or hangs them, and danced in the streets on 9-11.
Maybe because that's the side the moonbats relate to.

Double edged sword here.
If the money helps the Fatah party to regain control of Palistine (as if)then Hamas will be an ineffective political party and it's power deminished in the eyes of Palastinians. This may help the U.S. and it's allies in the region having someone they can deal with.
If the money is just used to aid Fatah in buying weapons to fight their war with Hamas, it will just make a bad situation worse. This will of course lead to even more hatred of the U.S. and it's alllies as the reason for the fighting.
I'm willing to bet thought that the money will just cause more problems. Even if Fatah becomes the superior party, they will just continue to blow the hell out of each other until no one is left alive.
